The actor puts very little effort into his performances. He always seems to deliver his lines in the same monotone voice with a blank expression on his face. You just know something is not quite right when Jacqueline Jossa is outshining him.
They just don't seem to be able to find good young actors....Peter, Dexter, Lee, Liam, TJ, Rebecca, Abi and Hetti are all played by actors that are below par. It's a shame because it adds to the unpopularity of the teens. Whitney, Nancy and Johnny are the only ones who are played by decent actors IMO.
I don't think Peter should be singled out when he's not the worst.

I don't think Lorna is too bad she was fantastic in Branning Week in November 2011. I think James Forde is a good actor as well and I think Ben hardy is really good at acting and I thought Hetti was ok.
no ben hardy should not go and imo he is a pretty good actor. his scenes with adam are very good, when he found out lucy had died they were very raw and beautifully played. i'm afraid you are way off the mark with this one.

They can both go for all I care! Both dreadful #BringBackGrant

I wrote this post because it was my opinion? I have started new threads before about positive things? They're not always negative, what a load of rubbish! People agree with me on this incase you haven't noticed, so I don't see why you're commenting with that? If you can't handle people saying anything bad about EastEnders then I'm sorry but that's your problem mate:/ I'm a fan of the show, I like the show and lots of things about it, but if I'm not liking something, or if ANYBODY isn't liking something, what's the harm in starting a thread about it, to see what other people think?
I wish I appreciated drama and good acting like you lot, I'm too shallow and only wait until they get shirtless. Ben is long overdue for another topless scene.

Agree with this a lot yes! Whitney is brilliant! When Shona was about 16 she was given the tony storyline which was brilliant! Now she's about 22, she's given stupid crush storylines? It's really silly! I think Lauren, Lola, nancy, johnny, and whitney are the not watchable young ones! And also jay, he's grew up quite a natural actor tbf!

Lauren is OK but it's her looks that make her stand out. Jay has seriously gone off the boil as has Lola, but then they've had nothing to get their teeth into. You're right about Shona too...give her high drama and she's great but she always looks bored to tears with romantic scenes, I only ever believed in her and Billy.
I don't like the actor that plays him, either. He doesn't look like a London boy (he looks more like a Devon boy to me), and the Peter and Lola pairing is terrible. They are the most mismatched couple ever!

Yeah true... I think a domestic abuse storyline would work for Shona? Something like that! Rather than see her act like a 14 year old girl around lee

So what if people agree with you on this? That has nothing to with the fact that most of your posts and threads are negative. You also don't seem to actually acknowledge or read through people's posts properly as you often misquote - I didn't say your posts are "always negative". You seem to get very defensive, hostile and pugnacious when you sense something negative. I'm not trying to attack you, just letting you know that for someone who claims to be "a fan of the show" you seem to have more bad to say than good.

I wouldn't want to see her as a victim again. put her in a situation where she can be strong/powerful. They can use her links to the Slaters and Carters to develop her further and revisit her job in the school. Mooning over a man doesn't suit her.

Agreed. It's quite sickening to watch, tbh. Considering where Whitney has been it's quite disheartening to watch her become that kind of character, tbh. Hopefully when Ryan returns she'll have something else to do...

I'd forgotten about Ryan...yes he could add some drama.

That's true, ryan returning will be good... But I think they can make her strong/powerful then kind of take that away from her in a dark storyline, it is after all EastEnders lol

Surely an actor should play an accent too, meant to be born and brought up in East London but speaking like the queens butler.”

...or maybe we could see a man being abused for a change. I'm sick of seeing the women being treated like sh!t. They can start with Max and then move onto Ian, Phil, Peter and Dean

Peter used to be such a nice and caring person!”
Jealousy is a very bad start to a topic .
You are just jealous and a bully.

Yeah I noticed this. Matt seems to be acting like he is uncomfortable when around the likes of Lola and Lauren. You can tell from his body language. Perhaps he feels awkward because he is a man and they are still teenagers. Its weird how they have put him into that age group. Perhaps its this that Matt was unhappy with.
