Loved it. I'm glad we are finally learning more about Charlie and what he is about. Obviously we had already cottoned on to the fact he wan't a real Police Officer but to find out that he is caretaker, working and living with his mother, actually, to me, made him more real!
The one thing that does bug me in soaps is how people can just jack their job in and up sticks with no security? Yvonne said to Charlie she has no one else yet she can throw away her wage and home to move to Ireland without out so much as a backward glance? I wish it was that easy! Does this mean Charlie still has his job?
The line where Yvonne said 'She's his mother, he wouldn't hurt her' and then the look on Charlie's face? Woah. What happened in between him going to the tube station with Yvonne and then turning up at Dot's doorstep?
I do think he genuinely cares for Dot and maybe believes that he has put her in danger by hanging around?
I'm still intrigued as too who the body they cremated really was? Someone from the old people's home? And how does Les Coker fit in?
For a reveal, we are still left with a LOT of questions and I for one, am really enjoying it.
