This story still confuses me to be honest, first of all how comes nicos adoptive parents never reported her missing when she first dissappeared? during when she first went missing patrick even paid her to pretend someone else was her daughter fgs, why havent social services got involved? does nicos parents know she lives with her biological mother now? does nico have adoptive siblings? has nico spoke to her adoptive parents since?alot of this doesnt make snese at all and very confusing is you ask me.

It's full of holes. As if Sienna, with her criminal history and mental history, would be allowed to get Nico like that, with no questions asked.

I thought this too - have they even done a DNA test just to make sure? She's also at school, but I suppose Patrick helped out with the paperwork for that!

She really wanted her daughter back so much that she treats her like crap!

I just assumed that the adoption wasnt really an adoption more patrick just gave nico away to solve the problem meaning the "adoptive" parents can't do anything about it. Patrick seemed to know the woman i the scene they pretended someone else was nico

This is what I think, that there wasn't a legal process. Patrick just gave the child to a colleague's friend, who he has kept in touch with (remember his secret box), so he might have come to some arrangement.

It is odd though that Nico's adoptive parents (or maybe parent- the woman could have split from the father, thus causing a chaotic situation at home) aren't more concerned.

She hasn't been treating her like crap?

This thread is an issue that has been asked many times, it really doesn't make much sense and writers haven't bothered to clear it up either. As per usual.

Didn't Nico say her adoptive mother died?

She hasn't had fantastic role model parents.

And the rest of Hollyoaks... that does make sense to you?

I thought Patrick gave her away and then the person she was living with died thus making her homeless.
