A TV Extra has released information that could be linked to Emmerdale's big October storyline on Twitter. In a tweet to Danny Miller (Aaron) the extra revealed this:

"@DannyBMiller My Agent is putting me in Emmerdale for the funeral scene on the 29th, Will i see you there?"

the tweet was posted on the 21st of August.

Hopefully no more long serving actors. Emmerdale has lost the remainder of its Long serving stars this last decade we don't need to lose anymore. I can honestly say I'm lost for words on who it could be. Maybe though it could be Declan??? Bring it on.

I was being sarcastic Pat I bloody hate the character. Every time he comes on I have to mute the t.v box. He was supposed to be brought in as a replacement for John wasn't he? I can't seem to warm to him as James, he'll always be Charlie Stubbs with a shirt on to me.

Thank Fook for that I missed the time when John was in it however watching clips of him he seems like a great character. James just doesn't fill his shoes in anyway.

That extra may not now be appearing. When a regular (at the time) cast member spouted off on Twitter he was off the programme sharpish even although he was told to remove it - even more sharpish!
