It should also not be ruled out that this is the final incarnation of the Doctor.

There is also the possibility that it was not the Clockwork Man who feel from the sky, but the Doctor (as we never saw the fall itself) and the man Clara is travelling with is actually the Clockwork Man.

I instantly thought it was a tardis, but not any tardis, i think it is the virtual word inside The Doctos's tardis, its operating system as it were. Put the words the mistress was saying in to Adria's mouth and it makes so much sence
