Rate Coronation Streets current performance
7/10. its not as bad as some on here are making out. we need better scripts, better storylines and use the cast to their full potential. put eileen, liz and deirdre together, have more scenes with the fueding eileen and gail. bring emily, rita, mary and norris more as a group, more screen time for tim and sally and any scene with ali king is just corrie gold. no more stunts or serial killers. the hat needs to stop trying to be a salford walford. corrie's strength is the mundane, the ordinaryness. it doesn't need much to fix it, go back to character lead storylines and not plot driven storylines. simple really. give me the job, i'll sort it.

I'd give it 7 as well. I enjoyed all of last week's episodes, everything seemed to hit the right notes even though there wasn't anything huge going on. Part of the problem is that... well, there isn't anything huge going on. The pace is a little slack, and the storylines are lacklustre, but the humour is there, and I'm to be enjoying and looking forward to every episode which counts for a lot.
I'd say 5, it can be bad but it can be good... Compared to previous years it's been AWFUL! Tinas death was good, but that's about if, oh and of course Hayley's death, but that was right at the beginning if the year! It seems like a different show compared to then! It's heading the way EE did in 2011 IMO! The show has lost a lot of popularity this year!
I've given it a 2 due to this year it being immensely boring except two or three weeks awful characters being used awful characters coming in and horrible acting and some of the worst writing I've heard on tv. Especially Peter are we cool? And great characters like Mary occasionally getting a line if Yasmeen isn't screaming over it. I don't understand why she is never used when we are constantly seeing Kal and screameen whilst having to endure the Windarses and Platts.
I voted 8 as I am enjoying it at present. It would have been 9 if it wasn't for the awful twosome, Sophie and Maddie. If the producer goes ahead with the kiddie porn storyline later in the year, my vote will drop to 1-.
