Now that Fame Academy is over i suddenly have my life back and don t know what to do. Usually at this point i would be watching the live streaming or the result show. Instead i am watching short video clips on the FA website and then telling everyone.

Is it just me or is any1 else suffering?

Me too - I was at home with the baby all day today, and felt very lost.
IMO, the Comic Relief streaming was much better than the normal FA streaming, as the students were always working on something for that nights performance.
Can't they have a dedicated highlights streaming for the next few days, just to help wean us off?

Its bad because this was a very good bunch of celebs - its a Big Brother family group that you get often at the end of BB but it works much quicker. The last 6 or so got comfortable with the environment too which only one or two people ever do in big Brother. They were also interesting people - had done a lot, could do interesting things , talk about interesting things, didn't have a Jade in their midst, everyone was a communicator, Ade, Edith, Reggie and Debra were very funny.

I looked at the BBC site and was surprised to see how old they were - the majority were in the 29-32 bracket - Kim and Edith are the same age. They had enough spread in ages though to form a group with a few older males fulfilling the fatherly roles and Edith and Debra being maternal, but everyone was on much the same level. Reggie was very much the youngster - which may help explain why he was saved so long.

I'd been avoiding anything to do with FA (up 'till now).

I had BBC24 on all day yesterday, just to hear the same FA & CR snippet every hour! I've still got withdrawal symptons from FA1! FA1 & CFA2 were the best ever reality shows for me.

In the meantime, I would suggest that you all treat yourselves to The Sims2 & its' new expansion pack, University - very time consuming & as addictive as FA! Mirage (I think) has even created her/his own BB!

Heck, I've still got withdrawal pangs from FA1, too.

I agree that this group was one of the best, and with the observations you've made about them. It would've been nice to have had a 'Katie' in there - maybe if Konnie had been able to sing, or either Kim or Debra had been younger and more touchingly naive - but overall, I can't think of much to improve from the selection point of view.

I think the telling thing is that I'm here writing....

Steve.

Shouting at the screen when i saw the trailer of a certain Mr.Norton and 'Strictly Dance Fever' = Yes.

Shouting at the TV that they would comission that and not a new series
