Mick carter has disappointed me quite a lot on EE, he hasn't actually done a great deal, and what he has done so far, is a bit of an insult to danny dyer...

Linda, shirley, johnny, tina and Stan have all had fantastic character development and I have warmed so much to all 4 characters! I love them all and they add something different to the show! I really want to warm to mick, and as weird as it may sound, for me to warm to him, I feel he needs to be quite villainous! We've seen the films danny dyer is in, and if you haven't then they're pretty violent to say the least lmao, and they've brought danny dyer into EASTENDERS and they're teaching him how to SWIM! What?! Lol, I just don't really like how micks a big softie, who's really nice to everyone, I'd much rather him be a lot more like dirty den! his character is quite one dimensional too, thankfully though, eastenders have revealed that he will start to show his darker side soon and I hope it pays off! Mick could become an EE legend if they get this right! What's everyone else's thoughts on mick?

The thing is though, if Mick was violent and came in straight away as someone who was up for a fight, Danny would have been accused of playing to type. We've seen a little bit of how Mick can be someone who you shouldn't cross and hopefully it won't be long until we see more of that

Yeah I can kind of see why they've done that tbf! Den watts wasn't that bad at first, I do think the whole swim thing and sticking up for ian was really stupid though:P

Apparantly so. It was mentioned on a thread on here but I don't remember it being said in the show.

Maybe the way we've seen him so far is the way he is. Unacceptable as that may be to those who need him to be a hard, potentially violent character.

There is no way he will stay as a wuss, Just wait and see. He wouldnt have been brought in if that was the case.
