Just want to request a poll to see who this forum generally likes or dislikes in a head to head between Richard Parks and Patrick Kielty.

Richard versus Patrick is one of the longest running debates on this forum, and for the first time I'd really like to know how they fare against each other.

I've seen one or two other fun polls on other forums such as who is your favourite Doctor Who etc.

So is it okay for DS to fulfill this request please?

I'd love to see this poll if it's possible for Beth or someone to set it up.

Alright, alrightmate!

I am surprised to hear you say that because even though it is obvious that this duel (which is undoubtedly staged) goes right over the heads of most people on here who just come together in get along threads slagging of Richard. When push comes to shove his integrity wins over Kielty's bullyin popular kid act. I don't see any debate at all. Just "exactly, "I agree with you", "Parky's a w*" etc. I got banned for criticizing these people once so it seems like the mods are up for all this and find argument a bit disconcerting.

This board has gone dead mate. Once it shone sooo bright. Maybe BB6 will bring something back.

Kielty for me, he is just doing what all presenter for this kind of show does. Did anyone watch American Idol? The presenter there got Simom wet the other day.. it is all pretend and Richard just don`t get it

yup, Kielty gets my vote too. It'd be a huge mistake if BBC actually listened to that nutcase Parks (hey, i'm trying to keep it clean!)

Only thing with FA though, isn't RP one of the rights holders for the program/format? -- That might make RP difficult to remove, and Patrick all the more of a target.

Having watched Parks on the live feed for the first and second series, he's one of the creepiest men I've ever seen on television. He makes a good bad guy for sure.

i dunno bout this, kielty is a good presenter, but i agree with parky that he does try and override parkys comments about students when they have been terrible, eg... konnie

parky for me, fame academy wudnt be the same without him.

I'm sorry, but Patrick Kielty is an absolute tosser on that show - 'We'll we all think it sounded great in here!' even if it was so obviously the worst performance ever

Richard Park has bucketloads of experience in the music and showbiz industry and has got a much better idea of what he's on about than that **** - would much rather listen to his waffle over Kielty's

Patrick Kielty is a far better addition to Fame Academy than Richard f'ing Parks is, I can't believe it's even brought into question
