We went on Wednesday and were blown away by the whole performance. It was a feast for the eyes as well as the ears and nobody appeared to be grumbling about the playlist. Quite the opposite, she got huge applause all the way through and came across very humble. Oh, to go again!

There's been no comment from George as yet,he is still counting the money he earned from the Faith album,the one that sold more than all of the Kate Bush albums put together.

Interesting to read some of the stuff about the trackless. I unfortunately didn't get tickets, and probably know HOL best, so am not really a hardcore fan. It surely was always going to be unknown what exactly she's be playing, but the one thing I'd have loved to see her do had I gone was The Ninth Wave in its entirety. Turns out she did, and from what I've read it sounded like it was utterly fantastic. So I'd have been happy.

It is a fair point though, about having a reasonable expectation that some, if not all, of n artists better known stuff will get played though.

It's becoming obvious that you and a few others simply cannot handle any criticism of Kate Bush in any way.
You refuse to admit that Kate Bush could have considered her fans views and given advance warning that she wasn't going to do a greatest hits show so they they had the option of deciding whether the show was what they wanted to see or not.
I suppose it's easier to think of Kate Bush as some kind of spiritual super being that is a free spirit,without commercial aspirations,rather than a pretentious pop star whose fan base has seriously dwindled as her pretentiousness became more important to her than actually making music that the general public actually like.

I'm not a huge Kate Bush fan. But I'd know by merely seeing the words 'Kate Bush tour' that it wasn't ever going to be a run of the mill greatest hits set, regardless of how long it had been since she last toured.

Her voice appears to be in great shape but I think she'd have a lot of trouble reaching the 'Wuthering Heights' of... Wuthering Heights nowadays.

Yeah, Kate is definitely finished as a creative force in UK popular music.

Nothing,I like her hit singles,and a few other earlier tracks,but people on here want to ignore what I'm saying that she could have made it more clear about the content of her show.
Talking about George Michaels previous tours proves it can be done,if the artist really wants to and people are sarcastic about George Michael,so I defend his success that is obviously far more than that of Kate Bush.

They get sarcastic,deliberately refuse to acknowledge what I am saying and deflect it with their own version of sarcasm , I'm good at that,too,so on it goes.

i dont understand what the fuss about what she might perform is about. ive never gone to a gig knowing beforehand what will be performed except in the case of the monkees who in the 80's were performing a 'hits' tour.

I agree,generally speaking an "exact" set list isnt known and certainly was always a suprise before the days of the internet.
