Haven't seen this anywhere else, and didn't want to start a new thread for it (too scary for a newbie!) but Edith was interviewed by Jo Whiley on Radio 1 at about 12:10 today.
The main points were:
- There was a wrap party last night that a lot of them went to, but not everyone could go. She still finds it weird being back in the outside world again.
- Since Eidth has been out, people have been "so nice". She mentioned that they've doubled the amount of money raised by CRFA1.
- She came into the studio to look through her e-mails before going on holiday tomorrow.
- Jo asked about Colin and Edith said that he had been "tired, haggard and emotional" on her behalf. When they had the bad weekend in the house (last Sat/Sun), he felt it "like a twin". Also, Edith's mum has now "adopted" Colin.
- She found it hard that weekend because everyone was tired and Carrie and David were getting the to express and feel what the songs were about. In the rehearsals for Champagne Supernova, she was a wreck.
- She felt that with the judges comments, she "got off lightly" but got upset about everyone else. She felt that Craig was "being evil and nasty for the sake of it" and that he was trying to take over Richard's role. However, she did say she found Lesley "hilarious".
- When asked who she got on with in the Academy, Edith mentioned Dawn and that they'll be "mates for life", Reffie who was "such a laugh" and Ade "Uncle Ade" who is going to do Comic Relief filming in Africa for three weeks and then they're all going to see his lambs!
- Her lowest point was when Dawn went. They had a tradition that whenever someone left they would shout up, and the remaining students would wave. She then mentioned Lesley flashing her breasts at Ade!
- Jo asked he about the voting, and specifically why had she voted tactically. Edith replied that this was when Reggie was against Dawn and the students had agreed beforehand to split the votes and go to the phone vote. She also said when she voted for Reggie again on the grounds that he had made her laugh (must have been against Debra I think??), he had said something that was unrepeatable on national radio.
- When it was announced that she had won, Edith said it "felt like an out of body experience". She hadn't expected to win and Kim had sung really beautifully.
- Overall, she had a "really good laugh" and is now looking forward to her holiday in Texas - something to do with South by SouthWest??
That's all that I can remember from the interview, it only lasted about 4 minutes.

Seemed very nice indeed. Staying in Eastenders until November and then not sure what she will be doing. Loves it (first acting job she has had, sold soap before that apparently ) but wants to try other things. Philip told her at the end of the interview that everyone at This Morning was rooting for her during Fame Academy and he thought she was robbed (yes he really did say that
