He was just so cringeworthy and really detracted from the episode itself.

More than Alfie!?

More than Lee and Whitney trying to bring the spirit of Carnival at the Vic?!

I don't think so.

I don't think it's fair to blame one character or last night!

I was about to post that. I've lived in London all my life and have never met anyone like Alfie Moon thankfully.

Nope. He was fine. I don't really get what people have against Fatboy on here. As a C-list character he's more than tolerable.

I can't even remember Fats being in last nights episode so he can't have been that bad, Alfie on the other hand is getting way annoying because of how Shane plays him. Shane is great at the real emotional stuff and possibly underated on that front but when it comes to the normal every day stuff he camps it up and shouts EVERY other WORD like THIS because he is ALFIE MOOOOON. Its enough to give you a headache.

Yes, so did Alfie. It was a rubbish episode anyway though.

That prize goes to Tina and Tosh, closely followed by Lee and Johnny.

Fats and Alfie visiting Patrick and doing their best to cheer him up was lovely.

It was a simply awful episode, carrying on the trait of recent weeks. Fatboy had nothing to do with it, I don't know why you felt a specific thread was even required

I found the Carters more irritating to be honest. The close knit family thing was refreshing at first but it's beginning to grate now as they're overdoing it. And I can't believe everyone is so happy for Tina to be having a baby with an abusive partner.

Nope, what brought down last nights episode was that PATHETIC carnival at the vic, LEE CARTER (don't even get me started) even him blowing that whistle running around in that pathetic polo shirt made me want to vomit! Also tosh, and well... I don't really need to say anything there do I haha! I'm just grateful we didn't have to watch that utter creep dean, who also makes me want to vomit, with his cheap salon

Not as much as Alfie and all the carnival filler.

It was an awful episode bedsides Denise, Ian and Patrick.

(Terry and Bianca's '2 month friends with benefits' thing is just a silly plot device to make her exit more believable!)

I agree. When they all did the Spice Girls it was quite funny but it's just annoying now. When Mick asked Johnny and Lee to come back to the Vic I thought it was so Mick and Linda could go to the carnival instead to cheer her up, not have some weird fancy dress thing. They're not believable at all anymore.

I have been on holiday so yesterday sat and watched a whole week of programmes in one go. What a load of rubbish. I am rapidly losing any sympathy I had for Ian with his weasely behaviour towards Patrick. The Carters are becoming strained and forced. Dean's obsession with Linda is pathetic. And don't start me on the not remotely interesting or mysterious Charlie Cotton. Definitely back to being utter rubbish.
