Do you think danny dyer likes micks character?
If I was him I wouldn't, fair enough acting requires playing different characters, but what do people think of micks character? Does danny dyer like him? He's really soft, and this big family man, and has literally learned how to swim, which I thought was absolutely pathetic! I liked him at first, but they were very misleading? Anyone remember that cheeky grin on Christmas Day 'merry Christmas'? It was like 'wow he's gonna be a right one' and I'm really disappointed! I don't want him to be completely evil, but I hope this 'bad side' he has, starts to show soon!
What's everyone else thinking of mick, and do you think danny is happy with mick? |

He wanted to play against type and he's achieved that. If I were him I'd leave as quickly as possible for 2 reasons.
1.Mick is a very bland character. He's essentially a less annoying version of Alfie. 2.Dyer will be typecast in this role. They're trying to turn him into Mr. EastEnders like Mike Reid's Frank Butcher. This will be hard to escape. Dyer's career needed a boost and I think he's had that now. |

WE need to care about the character by getting to know his warmer side. Theres a shed load of very dark gritty stuff coming up for him, including finding out about Linda's affair with Beppe Di Marco, and him people smuggling for extra cash, and killing Lucy to stop her spilling the beans about him buying one of her flats.

I have said this before, i personally don't see Danny Dyer sticking around for much more than 18 months or so. I just think he will get bored and want to move on to something else. I could of course be totally wrong, lets wait and see

If he didn't like Mick I doubt he would be playing him.
The thing about the Carters is that without Mick they wouldn't work. So their whole future hangs on Danny staying. |
