EE - Waiting for 'Mick & Stacey' to get it on...
I cannot be the only one who thinks their scene (about 2 scenes) was NOT just random and how they interacted and will interact again?
DS asked Lacey about her and Mick Stacey has already met Mick, so could they share some more scenes? "I don't know where they are going with anything yet, but they do seem like two characters who'd get along. Danny [Dyer] is great and is having a great time here. It would be good to work more with him - you never know what they are planning!" Sadly LNS, I think you are right. I think a Mick/Stacey affair is on the cards

However, I think they're better as just friends! And I would love to see stacey reunite with ryan when he comes back!:P |

I've said it again and again but the chances of either Mick or Linda having an affair while DTC is in charge are very very low, it just makes no sense compared to what he has said about them and what the actors have said about them. I really can't see it happening at all.
Also, Mick telling Stacey there's no work available in The Vic in no way implies an affair, all it says is that people in EE don't look for work outside the square. Stacey goes to Blades as well, does that mean she's going to sleep with Dean as well as Mick? Max offers her a job as well, is she going to be with three men at once? Of course not, it's just Stacey looking for a job. |

Please please don't give her another married man affair! I hope he will take on a brotherly role and keep her away from Max!

I do think Mick and Linda will be heading for a separation at some point, but I don't think it will be down to either of them having an affair: it will be down to malicious forces and destructive truths which will eventually come to light. Things like Dean deliberately making trouble for them, Shirley's secret, Babe's drug dealing, people taking advantage of Mick's good nature, that kind of thing.
Mick and Stacey did have a lot of chemistry in the scenes they had together but I'm pretty sure DTC is sensible enough to realise that having Stacey fall into an affair with another married man is going to do neither Mick or Stacey any favours. |

Beaconboof was obsessed with Stick as well. I can't see it happening, everything that's happened so far since Stace's return has seen the character move forwards, an affair would send her three steps back.

But what if they dont have an affair in the sense, they dont get it on until him and Linda are separated over something
I feel like i can totally see Mick and Stacey bonding and talking about things and an attraction forms.... (way different to what Dean and Linda thing is, coz Dean is being rather sinister and lusty over her) |

I agree that there might be some sort of separation but I can't see it lasting long, it'll be more something that leads them to getting married and being "stronger than ever" because of what they've been through imo. Even if they're apart for a bit, I just can't see either even thinking about seeing anyone else.

They would make such a lovely couple. A kerb crawler and a cold blooded murderer. Poor Linda.

Hopefully Stuart Blackburn will join EastEnders in the near future and direct the majority of scenes involving Mick and Stacey.

We've already seen hints of indifference and tension between them. Mick not sticking up for her sometimes when Shirley and Tina make nasty comments, putting Ian's secret before his family and Linda's wishes, he said to Johnny or Lee about what he missed from getting together with Linda so early and the biggest factor them not being legally wed. I think once the parentage secret and the dodgy going on with Dean come out it will create a big divide between them but tbh I hope if does it's a separation and not any cheating. |

I think (and hope) Stacey won't ruin yet another marriage so if she gets with Mick it will be after his marriage hits the skids for some reason. I don't think Mick would cheat and I'd hope the writers would be smart enough not to regress Stacey back to slapper mode.

Berridge, Harwood, Hutchison, Newman, Collinson, Kirkwood are others who are in the top ten. |

You are joking? Stuart Blackburn has to be in the top ten as one of the worst producers in soap.
Berridge, Harwood, Hutchison, Newman, Collinson, Kirkwood are others who are in the top ten. she made a lot of mistakes, dodgy s/l, killing off Mark Fowler being one but she introduced some good characters Stacey being the best. She just failed to utlise them properly, EE had some of the best character's present during that period, which we'll never see again. |

(way different to what Dean and Linda thing is, coz Dean is being rather sinister and lusty over her) See i can see this happening much more then an affair whilst Mick and Linda are together I think Mick is the kind of person that just wouldnt be able to to carry out a affair whilst with Linda, he would be just too overwhelming for him and we have seen him in such situation where he is, the swimming, Ian's secret But i can see a slow casual build up of Mick and Stacey scenes of some kind and then Mick and Linda splitting and then something happening... (i think Mick and Linda CANT'T live without each other but its gonna come down to a separation where they need a break and cant live with one another even if they cant live without each other and also the fact they are childhood sweethearts as well) |

So will Mick and Stacey be called "Sick" or "Stick"? Noticed people like to do the combo name.
