Water damage to lg led tv 37ls5600

Ive damaged this tv by spilling water down the front, does anyone know what circuit board I would need to replace ? the sound is fine but no picture coming up.. don't want a massive repair bill if I can replace it myself, only had the tv 15 months

That's surely got to be a claim on your House Insurance? That's what it's there for.

No-one can answer that question because no-one has looked at the TV. We can speculate but there is no guarantee that any guesses will be accurate. And it need not necessarily be a circuit board. It could be the display panel or the backlighting that has been zapped.

If you have no experience diagnosing and fixing faults in electronic kit then my advice is leave well alone and get a reputable professional in to do the job. And if the insurance does pay up it won't cost you anything anyway and could avoid making things worse.
