Okay so in the end Aisleyne managed to pull away to become a clear victor. On the first page though Nikki had quite a comfertable lead over Aisleyne and could have pulled out the upset victory. Aisleyne does take automatic qualification however and it is possible Nikki can get a wildcard spot but with the round being so close between a lot of big characters it could have spread the voting a little too thin with only 2 wildcard spots available.

I wish I'd caught this in time, never mind. Here's my top three anyway, and it's a fiercely competitive field from summer 2006 but;

Sezer's eviction has got to surely go down as the best BB eviction ever! He was so sure of himself and the body language and his face are quite memorable.

Never understood the appeal of Aisleyne to this day, I just don't get it, yet she wins this poll.

I may be wrong, but I think it was even closer than that, as I think Nikki gained 39 points.

Before I went out for the evening I did a skim count up, made it Nikki 39 - Aisleyne 41 and wondered whether it was safer to bump the thread or not. Eventually I did, as the thought of returning to find a 6.59pm post saying

...was just too painful. It worked out OK in the end.

Not that I'm taking this too seriously you understand...


Incidentally I realise that if I'm right about the count I've made it more likely that Nikki will wildcard it to the play-offs.
