They do seem to be extremely close friends, if they're not an item they must have a really complicated relationship! I know its not any of our business what they do ... but .. interesting nevertheless.
On FA itself they didnt say much, but they're conversations on their radio show were fascinating. How sweet that she chose a song for Colin's birthday with a lyric about listening to a DJ on the radio, she must have planned that really carefully to leave that particular song until his actual birthday.
But then again I cant understand why if they are an item, they wouldnt admit it?

I thought the same thing Edith and Reggie did get on very well on fame academy. She looked gutted when he left even though it was only a day to go.

I have a very good male friend and we worked together for years - just made us better mates and isn't complicated at all! I expect Colin and Edith have a similar sort of "brother/sister" type friendship that my mate and I have.

I remember a few weeks ago when Carmen Electra came in, Edith did a striptease in the studio for Colin, and I thought they were an item at the time.

Edith and Patrick are not an item either. I think Patrick is still getting over his split with Amanda Byram who left him to pursue career interests in the US..

Yes I saw that in the News of the World, but I don't think it is right as on the first night in the Academy I heard Deborah ask her if she had a boyfriend and she said she split up with someone in October and that there was a real drought of decent men at the moment.

Yeah Edith did split with Guy in October. And yesterday afternoon she was on the radio 1 chart show and said the stories about her getting married were rubbish.
Well they made millions of references (slight exaggeration) on today's (tuesday's) show, to them as a couple.
centrino04, I heard some of tuesdays show and agree they made loads of references to themselves as a couple- what with the music and song titles, and playful exchanges. but they also seemed to have fun at confusing the issue. Good luck to them both.
I think Colin is in love with her as when she was in the FA house he was strongly hinting that way, and probably knew he could say it without the embarrassment of her sitting next to him. He is very annoying though so I doubt she fancies him as well. It seems to always be him stirring up the rumours by the way he drools over her and tries to impress her.
