Hi everyone.
I am hoping somebody can point me in the right direction here please. Just bought a Bush B320DTRN PVR with internet portal, from Argos ten days ago. Functions ok but sometime after putting in timers for regular programmes it may work for a couple of days but then suddenly the details of the timers won't show and I have to programme them in again. I am thinking this is a software bug? Where can I find a software update? I have tried to update through the box via setting but message no response from servers. or should I take it back?
I am hoping that somebody here can point me in the right direction.
Fingers crossed....
Thank you...

Bush is just a badge stuck on to some bit of kit churned out by the container load in either Turkey or China. You'll probably find the exact same basic box on sale with other makers badges glued on the front.

Finding a software update therefore could be a bit tricky. I doubt though that a software bug would be responsible for what you are describing (though not completely impossible). I suspect a more likely candidate is some hardware fault causing the timer memory to be wiped.

In any case it is not something that it should be doing so it's faulty. Take it back to Argos. Mind you there is no guarantee any box they swap it for won't have the same problem. And with a lot of the cheaper boxes just being clones of each other no guarantee that changing makes will make a difference. Unless you go a bit upmarket and look at something like the Humax range.
