Unfortunately there's no sign of Tiramisus or Baked Alaskas. Also, Jim wants to know what biscuits tickle your fancy so he does, he's still craving for a bourbon poor fella.

Thanks to RK and aggie for the last few threads. Quick catch-up on this week's events: 1. Ty had an accident (as if that one with the hair didn't put him through enough). Fiona made it all about herself and Kanga. 2. Simon borrowed the boss' hat to show him whose boss. 3. Blackburn lookalike, Dean, made a cameo. 4. Max has learnt well from David; having a street rampage, chucking stuff at Gail and lobbing Buzz Lightyear at Tracy's daughter. 5. Michael's jingle made Gail tingle. 6. Tracy dumped and ran ie the actress couldn't appear and they wanted Amy to. 7. Sean licked his fingers like some famished animal. 8. Gary's up to his neck in manure once more. 9. Ty's dinner is still cooking...? 10. Nurse Ratchit aka Fiz knows best. ![]() 11. Peter's fringe was greasy and wet with sweat ie he was in a bad way. 12. Steve is depressed at the state of the show and wants to throw The Hat in the Irish Sea. 13. Sophie played 'get it in the hole' with Maddeh. 14. Tony and Todd the toad where as thick as thieves making Jase wish he could choose his family. 15. Eilzabeth vowed to put her ghosts to rest so she did. The Corrie Challenge - September Game
Cobbleheads!
Were in the last week of August now so its time to start thinking about your team for Augusts Corrie Challenge game. Dont worry if you have played before. The game is a bit like a simplified version of Fantasy Football so if you fancy having a go just read the rules below. And, if you're an Emmerdale viewer you can play the Emmerdale version of the game. Just check out any of this week's "Emmerdaily" thread for instructions. Anyway, its a very easy game to play. The object of the game is to pick a team of 11 characters from those listed below which you think will score the more points than the other people playing the game. Once youve whittled your shortlist down to 11 characters you will then need to nominate one of them as Captain. This character will have their score doubled so youre really looking to identify the character which you think will score the most points during the month to maximise your chances of winning. Then, simply post your choices on the thread or send them to me via PM, and keep an eye out for the Monday Episode Thread to see how your team is doing in the score updates. The scoring system works as follows:- + 1 point per episode appearance + 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode. + 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode before the break. + 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode after the break + 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode. + 1 point for any kisses on the lips. If you have both characters who kiss in your team each character will receive a point. + 2 bonus points for any character that appears in 5 or more episodes during the week. In the event of any episodes being transmitted on a weekend the week will run from Monday to Sunday. + Remember that your team Captain gets their score doubled!!! Once youve done all that you can also pick a name for your team. This will be listed in the Score Updates. Your Starting List for Septembers Corrie Challenge is as follows:- Remember you need to select ELEVEN characters (including a captain) no more, no less. The Rovers Steve Liz Michelle Number One Ken Deirdre Tracy Amy Rob Number Three Emily Norris Number Five Chesney Sinead Kirk Beth Craig Number Seven Dev Asha Aadi Number Nine Tyrone Fiz Number Eleven Eileen Sean Jason Todd Number Thirteen Kevin Sawfie Maddie The Kabin Flats Julie Rita The Platts Gail Nick David Kylie Max Audrey The Armstrong-Windasses Anna Owen Gary Izzy Faye The Websters Sally Tim The Salon Flat Maria Streetcars Flat Lloyd Andrea The Flats Katy Steph Carla Kebab Shop Flat Eva Leanne Simon Roys Rolls Roy The Nazirs Kal Yasmeen Sharif Alya Zeedan Others Luke Mary Peter Jim Eugene The deadline for teams to be submitted is: Monday 01 September at 7:30pm Those who have already registered teams are:- + dullagj2 + FM Lover + thejoyof_pat |

Good evening all, thanks for the fab thread, so much work goes in here, I'm jealous as when I've done my threads I'm nowhere near as good
![]() Anyway, I voted for the Jammie D as I love one and this week at Ocado they are BOGOF and I'm lucky enough to have the Jam & Custard edition in my cabinet as I type. Let's hope we get a couple of good episodes tonight, a slight improvement over the last two weeks I feel, mainly since Ken's return. Catch you soon. |

I wonder what our fave Corrie characters like, biscuit wise that is.
I bet Todd likes a Hobnob, Alya and Izzy both favour Ginger Nuts , Rita was partial to a Sponge(r) Finger and Mary, well a Gypsy Cream of course. |
