Tonights episode of Hollyoaks was amazing such character build storys raw emotion great acting thats what we want we want to see friendships formed relationships real life issues Tonight was as good as a 2006/2007 episode

We dont need anymore fancy stunts or ganster plots go back to basics focus more on family friendships ect make Hollyoaks the show we love again

Any thoughts?

I just looked at spoilers and apart from Monday's E4, they don't mention anything about the Finn storyline for two weeks!

I really hate it when they do this, they show 2-3 great episodes revealing something and then they drop it to focus on something else and pick it back up weeks later. It's ridiculous. It doesn't have to be the focus of all episodes every episode, but it shouldn't be dropped.

They keep doing this with all there big storylines (still not over the fact that they had a teen week after Silas was found out and they ignored the Costellos for weeks), any excuse to drag it along or no excuse at all just to drop it while they focus on other things. This rape reveal is huge, everyone would be talking about it in the village.

And yes, while some stunts can be good to watch, it's the drama, acting and writing that we just saw in these last two episode that is the best to watch. But knowing their history of dropping storylines and focusing on poor storylines, rubbish acting and terrible writing, you know no matter how good something is, it wont last.

Yes the pacing has gotten alot worse over bk i know some of it is due to single camera shooting which causes block storyline but im wondering is it time to do multi camera like the other soaps
