I think it's weird that Peter all of a sudden wants to be with Lauren.

Do you think Peter might be the killer and either wants to pin it on Lauren or use her as an alibi thus leading to Jacqueline Jossa's maternity leave????......

I have always thought Peter is the killer but just find it weird that his reignited passion for Lauren is so sudden.

When I saw "pin it on" in the title I thought of something else.

I wish he'd pin it on me.

He certainly is, but I have a one-track mind. As Cora Cross would say: "Get your mind out of the gutter!".

I'd probably pin it on Lauren too, to be fair.

I've already discussed this with J-B, if he has Lauren I can have Peter. Everybody is happy.

I'm good at brokering deals.

I don't know about fitting Lauren up but I am suspicious about Peter.

I just thought he genuinely likes Lauren because she understands him in a way that Lola doesn't - if he tried to frame her for Lucy's death, that would be very cold blooded and calculating which I'm not sure Peter is.

Where's J-B??? Too busy "pinning it"

That could be the new DS phrase to make it into the Oxford dictionary like a selfie

Answering OP - no I don't think he is.

He feels close to Lucy through Lauren her being Lucy's best friend. He's also dealing with the death of his twin sister and has got a very immature, unsupportive, needy girlfriend whose offering him no comfort. Him and Lauren are both grieving together and she's able to offer him the support and comfort he needs.

I don't think he's the killer at all. Wasn't he in the Vic anyway waiting for Lucy to meet him whilst she was being murdered?

Peter would be a very brave, some might say stupid, man to try and pin anything on my Lauren. I'm not a violent man as you know, in fact I abhor violence in all of its ugly forms. Wouldn't want to have to make an exception and give him the most brutal of beatings.

If she stays away from my Peter you never know, I might just hand her over to you with all her hair left.

I don't think so, he's always had a soft spot for Lauren and they dated many years ago but she was always the immature one and when they went for that date last year when he returned, her alcoholism took over and it didn't work. Personally I think DTC wants to bring a closer link to the Brannings and Beales and getting a friendship going with Max/Ian closer to the reveal.

The Brannings....after Bianca leaves with the kids and Jacqueline Jossa goes on maternity leave, if thicko Abi ever actually makes it to Bolton, won't Max and Dot be the only Brannings left?? Oh and Carol but don't they can stretch hers or Sonia's characters out for much longer...
