I have just tried Japanese food at Wagamammas for the first time, omg amazing! I don't eat fish so was always scared of it. I tried the Tescos mini too, nice.

Can anyone recommend and tell me how to make sushi with no fish?

Do you want to know what to put in it or actually make it.?
Avocado - thin strips of vegetables - asparagus - marinated tofu - marinated mushrooms - butternut squash. Anything you fancy really as long as it either squashy or thinly cut. I also make them with fruit and flavour the rice with coconut milk instead of vinegar.
There are loads of recipes on the web.

I use something like this to make it - very easily

Sushi is the rice component. No fish ever has to be involved in sushi if you don't like fish.

To make it myself.

With fruit? That sounds interesting. Do you use the seaweed nori stuff too?

I tried making my own yesterday, the nori made me retch - it tastes fishy. Idk, I've gone off it now.

Yes I love seaweed - crumble it onto salads as well as using it to make sushi.

What did you eat in the Japanese restaurant?

You can have sushi without fish and a nori sheet.

You can add whatever you want - any vegetable and salad ingredients - to a bed of sushi rice, and roll them in sesame seeds or black seeds. Or you could just leave it plain. Or you could press it in a banana leaf to shape it as a square.

Although it sounds as if a rice ball would suit you more. It's shaped like a ball or triangle that you shape in your hands. Inside would be a filling of your choice. I usually have cubed cucumber and tuna pieces as a filling, but really, you can create a filling of your preferences.
