From what I know, the CV should be one that describes your strengths and accomplishments, and I tried to make sure that both CVs that I submitted embodied that. One of them was a professional CV following the standards that one should follow when preparing a CV, and another described what I was responsible for in every task. It was a pleasant process.

I would say David's (Carlisle156). I feel with the topic that I was able to open more and be able to express myself in ways that I haven't before. I do think I accentuated mysellf well and gave myself off in a good light.

I would disagree with that and David did not point that out to me during the interview like he did with Naruto so I am slightly surprised he felt that way. I do know how to do a proper CV but I feel that the CV was specifically for this process thus I designed it to be that way (focusing on each individual task) instead of focusing on my work experience outside the process, grades and where I have studied like Shadi and George have done (I can do that but I did not want to because of the nature of this process being online).

I did write a paragraph on what I did outside the process as well but unlike a normal job interview, I did not feel this process was specifically about that.

Also I believe my CV was focused, clear and properly structured to this process so I do feel like I did a good job in that I designed a CV which was specifically designed for DSA and demonstrated the skills and what I have learned well.

I wish that I'd thought of doing what Shadi and Roxie did and included a DSA CV in addition to my outside world one. I didn't think of that, but it would have held me in better stead. But other than that, I thought I did well with it. Tyjet commented that he thought that maybe I shouldn't have been quite so specific, and I clarified that in the outside world going for a job in theatre/performance (which is what I do) I actually would have been a lot more specific about directors I had worked with, plays that I had been in and so on. It was actually condensed quite a lot for this process, and I felt that Tyjet accepted that after I explained it. Tyjet did also comment that he was very impressed by the amount of work that I had done.

In terms of structure and sometimes content it didn't really resemble a CV, but I understand what you're saying and I will say that what I thought you wrote was very good.

My next questions were brushed on slightly in the interviews, but I'm interested to hear what you say now. Naruto and George, as the two final 4 candidates who have previously competed in DSA, how do you think your run this time compares to your previous run? Do you think your previous experience puts you at an advantage to the other two candidates?

As for Roxie and Shadi, obviously this is your first time competing so how have you found taking part in the competition as a newcomer? Do you think it has put you at a disadvantage?

Most likely the one with Tyjet. I do think it was quite short and as such, there wasn't really any sense of being able to show myself in the best light as possible as more questions means more possibilities to answer questions and show yourself off. This may be the problem with me not thinking of the CV as an actual CV as I thought it was primarily on our skills and qualities, however I do think the answers I gave did show that I was able to back it up.

I have found this one more difficult, partly because I have formed closer bonds with the other candidates this time and it has genuinely been gutting to see some of them go, and partly because I think that it is natural for tasks to get slightly more complex each year in a process like this, because any less is an anticlimax and the same again is a rehash. But I think it says a lot about me that in every Apprentice-themed game I have taken part in (DSA3 and Virtual Apprentice, which took place early last year) I have always been one of the last few candidates remaining. That surely means that I have a lot of talent, and you can't get this far three times running just by mistake. Once, possibly, but not three times.

I believe being a new-comer has its pros and cons. The pros are people don't really know you, which means no preceding reputation can haunt you in the game, and you won't be under that pressure to have a better placement than last season. The cons, however, are that you don't know anyone around (since I'm new to the site) so you feel like you're the new kid on the block who people might view as an easy scape goat early on. Moreover, you don't know what to expect from this whole process because whereas other candidates know the challenges, and how the system works, and have learned from some of their mistakes, this is your learning curve. So I do believe that whereas being new is both good and bad, the cons outweigh the pros, but I'm glad to have made it this far on my first try and I look forward to hopefully making it even further and winning.

I do see where you are coming from, but I treated these as actual interviews. In an actual interview, you do not get 5 or 10 minutes to prepare and answer a question so that you are writing paragraphs because you have to be concise and you have to be able to show that you can write several paragraphs into a shorter one because that is a skill, which is important.

I do hope it doesn't come across that I put in less effort as I did with all the questions that I had been given. Quantity is not always a good thing, and I do always go for quality even if it shorter than quantity.

So again, I wanted the interview to be as realistic as possible as you I do believe you won't bombard them with massive paragraphs as they mas get bored or you may miss the point.

It is indeed my first time playing DSA. As I said in my interview with David and Jakk, I do feel that I was in a slight disadvantage in knowing how this game works and understanding the more logistical side of tasks such as pricing and promotion. But at the same time I feel that I did not let that drag me down and I did settle into the process well, coming up with the winning idea for Task 1 for instance - the tropical and four cuisine restaurant which both my team members and viewers alike commented as being a good idea. So I do not feel that I was at an overall disadvantage but just a logistical disadvantage.

Throughout the process I feel my logistical skill has improved tremendously such as with my promotional plans for Task 4, 6 and 7's (which viewers all commented as being good) and Task 5's pricing plan for the art pitch which made the art more universally appealing. So I do feel I have improved in that respect too.

Interesting, before I make my first decision I would like to ask you all one more thing. Can you please give me one 'shining moment' (not a task but a moment in particular) that proves to me that I should take you to the final?

Not to sound conceited, but I really believe I had more than one shining moment this season. But I have to say, the moment that I felt was my highest was when you announced the results of the fifth task which I was project manager in. Winning all 3 pitches flawlessly in a blowout on my first PM try, and hearing all the positive feedback from my teammates, the buyers, the viewers, the advisers, and you, I believed, really validated me as force to be reckoned with. I had been very strong up until that point, but this PM win was the cherry on top of my momentum, and I was smiling from ear to ear.

The coming up with the concept of Four Nature Theme Park. I myself came up with the idea, and both Shadi and the market research agreed that we should use it. It is my shining moment, because I knew from this concept, that we had a large chance of winning the task. The concept, to me, would work so well, I am sure that with a few tweaks here and there, it could be one of the biggest theme parks in the UK. It has so much scope and appeal and is so current, when I had finalised everything, I believe it was one of the best things I had ever created in the process, and along with the help of Shadi, we won because this idea is as close to the real world as can be.

It is difficult to come down to just one as there are a few running through my head, but I would say my pitch to Tyjet in the art task. It may seem a bit odd that I'm choosing that as I was criticised for leaving it too long to prepare it, which caused a problem with the figures; I'm a third-day sort of person, I always have been, and I think it's something about me which I could possibly change in order to improve my overall credibility. However, I think that having left it so long went to show how able I am at pitching if I know what I'm talking about, because Tyjet was bowled over by it. Part of the reason I am a third-day person is that under pressure, I can work just as well, if not better. My descriptions of the art that I was selling were literally written in twenty minutes, but I wrote some fantastic material, I had found an amazing artist and I felt that Tyjet made the decision to choose my pitch pretty much straight away, although I obviously can't swear to that last bit. We won that task by 3-0, and I think that my pitch was one of the biggest reasons for that. Obviously being a third-day person can obviously be a negative; I am trying to work on that, and in the final if I get there I will try really hard not to let that side of me take over, but when you actually look at how well I can perform, even at the last minute, it shows that I am a really worthwhile candidate, and by no means the weakest person here.

I believe how I handled the disagreement with Shadi was a shining moment in that I was the first one to offer a compromise and I apologized straight away. I believe it showed my professionalism in that I will always try to make an idea work even if I do not agree with it. I believe it also demonstrated another strength of mine which is being sensibly creative as I tried to adjust the plot to fit in with the idea of social realism for the British independent drama industry. It also demonstrated my teamwork abilities as I supported Shadi personally throughout that day when he was having a bad day. I think that particular moment says a lot about my ability to try to make an idea work, my sensible approach to creativity and my ability to be in a team (both as a team member and a team leader as I always motivate people).

I have a few more overall ones like my art pitch for Task 5, my leadership roles in Task 3 and 6, and my ideas to use Hurts and the tropical restaurant in Tasks 6 and 1 but I wanted to give you a specific moment.

Okay, I think I'm just about ready to make my first decision...

George, there's no doubt that you've been a strong candidate and exceptionally strong in some instances. However, your journey to the interviews has been considerably more bumpy than the other candidates and there are many times where you were close to being fired, and even would have been fired had it been another person in the position of Lord Sugar instead of myself. Whilst your interviews were good, I do not feel that you were able to dispel these concerns that I had about you as a candidate in the same way the other candidates did and therefore unfortunately I have no option but to say that...

George, you're fired.

As for the other three, very best of luck to you! I have someone in my head who I would like to see win, but you're all lovely and very talented and I'd really be happy for any of you to get it. I'd be delighted to come back and help one of you in the final.

Naruto, I would say from both your interviews and the way you come across in the boardrooms that you have less confidence in yourself than the other candidates. You seem more ready to accept criticisms of yourselves whilst the other candidates seem more eager to completely prove those criticisms wrong, and I found it interesting that you were the only candidate unable to name yourself as the standout strongest candidate, ranking yourself on par with Roxie. How do you expect me to have confidence in you if you do not have confidence in yourself?
