I am glad that they are performing now. It keeps them in the limelight, and there tends to be quite a few opportunities near Christmas for Christmas lights gigs etc

Only The Young have postponed their December 28th concert until April.

Apparently there's a very serious medical issue with Parisa's family, that made her miss several Xtra Factor's as well. Very well done for nothing using it for their benefit in the show.

They've announced that Parisa's mum died today.

Just awful for Parisa, and I can only imagine for the rest of the band too, given she's basically been their surrogate mum for the last couple of years.

Is there any word on these guys getting signed? I wish they had finished 5th rather than 7th, it just sounds so much better! They are so good and have so much potential and I think there is a real gap in the market for a group like Only The Young.

I remember Union J announced they were signed almost immediately after the show ended, it was in the December before Christmas anyway.

I wouldn't want OTY to sign to Syco anyway, think they would ruin them as they didn't really know what to do with them on the show.
