I hope it's not the Blues Brothers, can't stand that song! Sadly the clues all point to it. Hopefully they will have changed song mid-week as seems to be the done thing on X Factor these days. They should have gone back to The Power of Love.
What kind of music do Only The Young want to be making in the real world I wonder? I hope Louis' choices don't ruin them! They have so much potential and I can see myself actually buying their album. |

Loved their version of Come On Eileen, they did brilliantly with a crap song choice and they did really made it their own. They were one of the only groups to embrace the 80s too.
Hope they pick their own song choice this week and something modern, I really don't trust Louis's song choices. |

OMG Blues Brothers, i didn't think of that! Yes, those clues seem more likely especially with Blue being one.
Well i must confess I'm not a big fan of any of the songs in the movie but maybe with their spin live it might be good! |

The clues must've been a little bit wrong haha.
But good song choice and they should stand out a mile from the rest due to the other song choices being either dated or just bad. Should be a good week for them

I'm looking forward to tonight's song choice, glad they are finally doing something a little more current. I hope they do it in a way where you can hear there good vocals and harmonies though. Their harmonies are on point and they haven't really properly showcase them yet. Maybe we'll have to wait to a week where they do something a little less up tempo.

There's a guy in the film that goes blind and has to wear sunglasses. and as for hats... I have no idea lol |

I hope there is a drum/clapping segment if that is what you call it. where there is just a beast right at the end where you can hear the harmonies!

Can we talk about how beautiful Charlie is?! Like a young Frankmusik! His hair is so perfect and amazing. I wish George Shelley was still in Only The Young (and I bet he does too!) :

They aren't being favoured by production. Vocals too produced, too much backing track.
They could do better by themselves. They proven time and time again on Youtube they can do their own back vocals. |

I didn't think it was as bad as some are making it out to be on the MF.
Yes it was slightly out of tune of the first verse, but I thought other than that it was an ok performance tbh. It's a shame neither Charlie nor Mikey are getting any form of the verses so far and are restricted to the chorus' only. Anyway used my 5 free votes for my i-phone on them and probably will use the other free 5 ones for my i-pad

I liked it.I think the main problem was that we are used to them being so up beat and moving around a lot that it seemed really toned this week.I also felt the girl with the brown hair was a little off in parts .I hope they are safe and get another chance next week

What the hell was up with that arrangement
![]() The studio is so much better, why did Parisa end up singing both the verses and the bridge? In the studio version the boys sang quite a bit?

It annoying that after one ok performance everyone thinks they will be in the bottom 2 ,I really hope they aren't and prove everyone wrong.

Not posted before but just wanted to say I am supporting OTY
![]() I was so looking forward to last night but I have to be honest and say it was not as amazing I as thought it would be. Hate to say it but Simon was right the girls were off tune in the verses but the chorus was good. Overall OK and compared to some of the other it was actually quite good I don't know what is going on with all this changing of song but it does not look good on them (and Louis) and they are not quite clicking on stage to deliver the amazing performances we know they can do. I am quite worried about tonight and people seem to think they are candidates to be in the bottom two. Hopefully they are more popular than people think (and I will send through a few more votes ).

Used up my 5 free votes on OTY. I usually vote for Fleur and OTY but i figured OTY would need it more.
Watching back on the performance, yeah the verses were slightly off but overall I enjoyed it more than anyone elses tbh. |
