Assuming we can suspend our disbelief a bit, Hollyoaks is absolutely brilliant at the moment. The Patrick, Sienna and Dodger triangle is hilarious but sinister at the same time. Patrick is rapidly becoming one of my very fave characters. Sienna's discovery of Nico's brain tumour was more fantastic entertainment. But ..... all hail King Finn. Aided and abetted by pathetic police arresting the wrong person as usual, he was superb, smirking and strutting his way round the community. That dratted John Paul has gone and ruined it all though. It could be argued that his cowardice is the main reason for all of this anyway. Thank goodness Nancy recovered inside 24 hours.

Whilst I would never claim to be as knowledgeable as some HO fans on here, I have to say that the omnibus I just watched was as entertaining as anything I've seen soapwise for ages.

Excellent episodes last week because Finn was finally caught We will now probably go back to having crap episodes until the story line comes back on screen.

The Dodger/Sienna storyline is creepy but well acted by Anna.

I want Finn to carry on his reign of terror though.

Just hold your horses there a cotton picking minute H. I didn't say I didn't loathe anyone in HO. I tend to loathe do-gooders in all soaps. I want to loathe John Paul but I feel a bit bad about doing so as he's obviously a genuinely decent guy. Thus, I seize on opportunities like his cowardice in not grassing Finn up to put the boot in. Basically, I enjoy loathing characters more than I probably should ! You've noticed, then.

It's been great this week and whilst I can't see many agreeing with you about Finn I do see what you mean in that he could be a great villain. The trouble is he's a rapist and however good a villain he is it's not that comfortable getting behind a rapist

Love Patrick though and yet he beats up his partner and certainly psychologically and physically abused Sienna

Not sure how the Finn story line is going to play out. Is he leaving does anyone know?

I did notice and thought you was letting the side down for a minute...I mean you've not yet mentioned the vileness that is Grace, Trevor, Freddie the face probably the most loathsome people in the soap!

Ah, excellent news. I'm relatively new to Hollyoaks although I know most of the characters. Delighted that there is so much loathing I can look forward to. I quite like Grace though. I like all the nasty ones.

I agree about the villain / rape thing. Murderers are ok to like in a pantomime villain sort of way but rapists aren't.
