Wait until the playoff studio coverage turns into an NFLuk infomercial for the ticket sales for next year's Wembley games.
Not sure if I will this year because of changes in my work commitments. |

Out of sheer curiosity if a franchise came to London, how many of you would buy a season ticket?

As for your question - No. Three games is probably as many as I could manage. I like the current format, It is more an NFL festival and a celebration of the NFL rather than support for a specific team. Assuming a UK franchise were to take over the Jags then personally I have no desire to see three games from the AFC South along with five other intra or inter conference games. Even if the UK or London is to be awarded a franchise I feel that it is still a few years off yet. Quote:
Surely the best thing from a fans perspective is that the Wembley game is mainly in the 130pm slot? Not only does that maximise exposure but also allows fans to watch another game later on?

The studio segments were woefully poor tonight, Cecil Martin was abysmal at the touchscreen thing.

Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts will be doing Chargers/49ers next Saturday night, but no word on Philadelphia at Washington on the same day. |

Sky are showing the Browns for 2 weeks in a row! Must be a record. Can't complain as a Browns fan.
Look at what the Manziel effect has had on tv stations in the US in revising their broadcast match: http://nesn.com/2014/12/nfl-week-15-...-bengals-tilt/ |

It's the Last TNF and MNF of the season. The extra games on Saturday are part of the TNF contract making up for the game that they missed in week 13 (NBC thanksgiving match), and the lack of a game in Week 17. |

Matches on Sky Sports 2 and Redzone on Sky Sports 5 for Week 17. Nice idea but presumably they'll input adverts with it being on Sky Sports 5? and that just ruins the whole idea of Redzone.

A shame that next week won't be too exciting anyway. Atlanta/Carolina will be moved to primetime, the rest of the NFC will be sorted tonight when Seattle beat Arizona
and so doesn't leave much to sort out really. Detroit haven't won at Green Bay for 20-odd years and that's likely to be moved to the late slot but can't see it being any good.

Cadle said on air last night that Red Zone on SS5 will be commercial free.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh has been announced as the SNF game next week. The full schedule for other moves will be released today, but it is widely reported that Detroit at Green Bay will be a late game. This would make it almost certain that Carolina at Atlanta will be an early game, so together should form Sky Sports' double header. |

Utterly bizarre that NBC have picked the Steelers/Bengals match though. You have a winner takes all match-up in Falcons/Panthers with no other teams, wildcard slots or variables involved, yet they are obviously chasing the ratings instead. |

Even if they win tonight there will still be something riding on the game for both teams, and is a far more attractive ratings match up for a broadcaster than two teams with losing records It also allows the league to share the schedule nicely for its other broadcasters...... FOX can have Carolina/Atlanta early followed by Detroit/Gree Bay late and CBS can have San Diego in one of it's slots and a team like New England or Baltimore in the other There is no requirement for the SNF game to be 'win and in' |

Wouldn't describe it as utterly bizarre, NBC/NFL are taking a punt that Cincy lose tonight and then it effectively becomes a win an in battle for the Bengals along with a battle for the AFC North.

Not really, unless they flex Carolina/Atlanta over to CBS, CBS dont have anything that exciting to show.
If Denver win tonight then New England will need to win next week to get the 1 seed, CBS will be happy with that, they love showing New England, they'd probably even try and get it flexed to the 9:25 slot |
