You don't read too good, huh? My point was precisely that it wasn't a coincidence but the way the deal was negotiated. Two games to be broadcast live from the ground, the third to be on red button only with studio presenters. That being the established practice it is beyond me why anybody was surprised by Sunday conforming to the pattern that had been arranged two years ago and announced then, again at the beginning of the season, and in the week running up to the game.

So you're not sticking to your statement that:

"Sky was the main broadcaster as the feed was from Fox and not NFL."

The BBC are going to be buggered when it comes to show the Superbowl this season then, eh?

Delighted to see there is a game on Christmas Day (9.30pm kickoff our time) - finally something decent to watch on Christmas Day

It's 10.30pm kickoff UK time, clocks go back in the US next Sunday

Like there's 7pm-10.05pm-10.25pm kickoffs on 24th December, with a 2.30am game Christmas day..

You've got your times wrong there, they're all an hour earlier than what you've put!

Not according to CBS site i've been looking at, kickoff times week 16 Christmas are an hour later than normal. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/schedul...ar/2016/week16

Currently we are on Eastern Daylight Time (-4) which will change this weekend to Eastern Standard Time (-5).

As you can see they are currently listing everything EDT on cbssports
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/schedul...lar/2016/week9
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/schedul...ar/2016/week10
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/schedul...ar/2016/week15

Presumably this will be altered on their site by Sunday.

It will all turn out as chrisfinch says!

The official NFL app has the usual 6pm, 9:05pm, 9:25pm and 1:25am with the Christmas Day game at 9:30pm.

These are definitely the correct kick off times. Not the ones posted above.

Just noticed last minute change to Sky Sports Mix today, now showing red zone this Sunday and again next Sunday, they previously have 2 of the MLS playoffs listed for tonight.

Looks like we might get Red zone all season long at this rate.

It's been confirmed that RedZone is a permanent fixture on Sky Sports Mix all season

If it wasn't for RedZone I'm not sure I'd be watching any NFL this season. I never thought Cadle was that great a presenter but Dara is so bad she makes me miss Big Kev. It's just unwatchable now.

It really, really isn't.

Presenters are a minor part of game coverage. Even when she's on, she is not bad at all. People just say she's bad because it seems to be the "cool" thing to do on here.

Agree. Shaun Gayle really doesn't seem to respect her, but I think Neil made more of an effort with her this week. I dont mode her at all.

That sounds better than it really is. No full live NFL games have been aired on Sky's FTA channels so far this season for non-sky viewers. Pick TV and Sky Two had at least eight regular season games last year.

NFL Redzone is good, but it is for NFL experts more than a casual NFL viewer like many of us.

Really?

I would suggest the "casual" viewer is put off the game by the number of stoppages and adverts, something totally negated by Redzone, thus making the game more appealing to watch.

I agree completely. RedZone is the best thing to have happened to NFL TV coverage in the past 30 years, other than the sheer number of games they now show. In the UK, RedZone has the added benefit to both hardcore and casual NFL fans by sparing us all the monstrosity that is the Sky studio coverage.

The main problem i have with Redzone is cutting away from a close game to a show a live redzone play from a blowout. I guess it's the fantasy element which means they stay true to their name but i'd prefer TDs from out of hand games on delay so that we don't miss a play from a game that's very much in the balance and important in terms of playoff implications.

They dont do this very often, when a game is a blowout most of the TDs they show will be on a delay. And they always go back to the close game as soon as they can, usually showing the other TD in the 40 seconds between plays so nothing is missed anyway.

Disappointing no BBC radio coverage last night as R5SX had tennis and they obviously couldn't be bothered to just have link on website.

I found the press release on the BBC website and I see it says regular Sunday night radio coverage so covers them for not having every weekend.

Anyway found a stream of a Dallas radio station. I always find the local adverts they have on those stations amusing, but would be just the same for an Amaerican listening to local London radio say.

But was great game though.

The main problem I have with it is that they hardly ever show my team

I support the Jets 😢 😂 😨

Jets just got booted out of primetime on November 27th.

Chiefs at Broncos is now the NBC game that day. It was Patriots at Jets, which is now 4.25pm ET on CBS.
