Mrs Mills and Mrs Hammond are the Mothers of Doom!

On the plus side we are getting a lot of Aljaz's trousers tonight.

Worst lyric of all time contender with you walk into an empty room and suddenly my heart goes boom.

Baldrick levels of poetry there.

(And if the room is empty, why would you know anyone had walked in it to boom?)

Edit - I may have thought about this too much over the years

A lesson to be learnt: don't bring your mum to the show! (wasn't Thom's mum there last week as well?)

Quite!

Also... "A few weeks ago he found himself fighting in the dance off!". Len, it's the strictly ballroom, not the sodding Coliseum!

And the only reason he hasn't since is the overmarking ... Sorry ... Journey <eye rolls>

Also do not appreciate him talking about being paid to be on a light entertainment show in manner akin to manning trenches. You get to be on ITT on Monday Mark, your not taken out back and shot.

My favourite worst lyric of all time is from The Lebanon by The Human League - 'Before he leaves the camp he stops/And where there used to be some shops.'

I also can't listen to Sex On Fire because of 'Consumed by what's just transpired.' How desperate for a rhyme were they?

I'm watching a few minutes behind. Things I enjoyed about that last spate of safe vs. dance off:

- Simon being so committed to the idea that he was in the dance off that his jaw practically dropped open when he was called out as safe and he actually jumped when Kristina went to hug him.

- Steve and Ola waiting for the announcement while dressed as skeletons. Were they happy? Were they worried? Were they sad? Who knows, they were just full Skeleton.

Oh dear, I actually enjoyed both those routines.

There's a Judy Tzuke song which goes - fates wheels are slow and grinding, caterpillars become butterflies. Yes, Jude. Yes, they do.

I'd love to know what she thinks the story of Wuthering Heights is. I get the impression it's, uh, not the version I know.

I think he'd had some of whatever Annie Lennox had been on (you can't tell me that her 'moves' were the product of a sober person)

It was another classy exit, I thought. They did seem genuinely fond of each other and liked by the other couples.

I do like Scott as a person, I just never want to see him on the dance floor again. I've also never seen anyone so genuinely delighted to be announced as being bottom 2
