He was cringeworthy tonight. Patting Karen on the shoulder saying "I won't let you down"

Me too. I really hope he is out soon - not likely though, unless by some miracle he is up against either Frankie or Pixie.

Who does he think he is? It should be a given that he will try not to let his professional partner down. He is an immature, talentless, attention-seeking conceited boy who was on a semi-scripted reality show, whose solo TV career hasn't been successful, who is desperate for a media career and who hasn't been honest about the amount of stage or movement education he has had. I have NEVER in all my years of watching strictly, felt so annoyed at a contestant - not even DVO. He should be grateful he has a radio job and a lovely fiancee and leave it at that.

Me too on both counts.

I'm really hoping either Sophie or Rachel win. Surely there were other people they could ask other than Riley - she seems to be a permanent SCD fixture now.

Just watching Caro and Pash on BBC Brekky and realise how much I unappreciate Len's "no justice" comment. Not because I thought they should be bottom two, but because earlier Len had said he hoped to see Judy and Anton get to Blackpool "To see Craig's face". Cannot have it both ways. He is a muppet at times!

Actually, I had this great idea for the show where Mark and Karen do all of their performances, training and ITT interviews on an oil rig in the middle of the north sea but without a camera present in a groundbreaking experiment to see if we could pick them up through ESP

Tbh i've given up expecting logic from any of the judges. For constructive criticism, weirdly, Bruno is the one you're most likely to get that from in the last few years, although it does tend to get missed amongst the excitable arm waving & falling off of chairs.

I know , it used to be Craig who was reliable fair and consisitant, he has really gone, off piste of late, starting with That Widdecombe woman and then Ending with Allison,

Even his 10s though rare are erratic, didn't he give Jasons AT a 10 .

SCD idea of an AT seems to be defined by that now,

I bet all sorts of people joined AT classes expecting hair sniffing foot sing and strangling of your partners.,

You mean it isnŽt?
Next youŽll be telling me it doesnŽt involve sweaty pampers, gauchos and ladies of the night checking for loose change with their feet.
Never mind shoe fetishism.

Interesting ITT tonight.
Unusually the Friday panel didn't love everything and everyone.
Woman from Birds of a Feather (can't recall her name) said that Pixie was at school with her son - I think she mumbled Italia Conti - and how wonderful pixie was back then at dancing...

Only "at times"?!

Your idea is just spot-on!

Totally agree re. Bruno. I frequently find myself agreeing with him more so than the others. OK, so he doesn't really use his lower paddles that much etc. but he also hasn't reduced himself to one word catchphrases. He gives the impression of just loving dance which is why he gets a bit overexcited with his 10 paddle.

He's given both Lisa Snowdon & Dr Hamela 3 10s each. I think over the years I've loved more 39 scoring routines than 40.

Used to relish Quality Street as a kid. These days prefer Cadbury's Roses.

Unappreciating Xmas box-of-celebs,two nice pralines, but also,a couple of over-sugared fondants,a messy creamy one and a big lump of hard toffee.

Do they put chewing gum in selection boxes? Sticks to your shoe and can't be budged?

My decision to hitch to the David Cassidy wagon is justified

I feel a tad concerned for Jake and Sunetra tonight.
Jake because he has another ballroom and is being trained by someone who is seemingly deficient in the twin areas of ballroom and teaching and Sunetra because she has a Samba to I don't feel like dancing with someone who seems to echo the sentiment.

Ditto and ditto re Jake and Sunetra......

Think there may be some one with a fine sense of irony choosing the music
