I find the producers' ousting of Jake and Pixie really odd, just as I found the choice of Lisa over Austin totally bizarre. Normally when they manipulate things on talent shows or reality shows the aim is to keep in the audience-grabbing, crowd-pleasing contestants. On Strictly it feels like they aim to keep the blandest contestants possible. I say this as someone who liked Jake and disliked Pixie but feel the final is lacking the partisan divisiveness they would have brought to the dance-floor.”

Well, they've certainly succeeded in that endeavour this time. I've started watching ITT and got as far as the finalists coming on, but I think I'm going to FF through this bit as a more bland and boring quartet would be difficult to imagine.
I've been searching through the Christmas Radio Times for an alternative to the final tomorrow night.
