Yet in reality, more like the Dean of Westminster.

Oh, not borderline! That bit in the middle when he was picking up his knees like he was doing a country two-step was ridiculous! I'm baffled as to how he got two marks higher than Katie.

Someone (sofakat?) said earlier he has very short legs. He really does, they look about the same length as Janette's, and she's a good amount shorter than him.

The judges definitely overmarked him. I too thought he clumped his way around. He also missed a few steps here and there. It did not seem to be that fast either. I really do not understand how the judges think he is so great - he did more writhing last week than cha cha and still he was top of the leader board.

I don't understand the overmarking - Jay, Helen, Katie and Kellie were all better than he was imo.

I really hope this 'favouritism' stops and PA gets realistic marks.

Is that what it is, I thought he was just doing a very random Steptoe impression.

Caught up, Jay was fab, Katie and Anita were lovely, Anton taking it seriously and working

I got called " pleasantly plump " yesterday, absolutely delighted, a hell of a lot better than frankly fat !

I haven't watched the programme yet, I think I am a committed DOT if I read here first rather than watching the programme

Those trousers looked like they had started off at an average leg length. By the time they were cut to fit him, the must have been 3/4 length. They looked strange, like a child wearing dad's hand-me-downs.

I didn't think think it was great, although out of time, he should some promise with the Charlestown steps, but the run was hilariously bad, like a dressage at a beginners gymkhana, and Jeanette seemed as messy in the moves as he did.

I know Anita's Charleston wasn't a Charleston but I still love it. Se has a real natural stage presence along with Gleb. Kellie thinks she has stage presence but she so doesn't....
Jay and Anita are my tips for the final two.

Those trousers were hilarious, why they just didn't pop into Tescos and get some from the children's range I've no idea.

I really enjoyed Anita's dance, at the moment a final of Jay, Anita and Katie would make me happy.

Kellie and TTF are rapidly getting more irritating then TTF and Suzanna

With you AK.

God Kellie...she is ultra luvvie. So bored with these overtrained stage schoolers. I know that Jay has gone to a school but he seems more raw as does Anita and I enjoy them both. And I am delighted that Anton is producing something really worth watching.

Edit: fabulous routine from Gleb (I know it was a jitterbug but what the hell).. And I even enjoyed Daniel.

Kellie needs toning down and told to calm it . Kevin is not the person who would see her over the top in your face carry - on malarky
So it will get worse as each one encourages the other to be the Chuckle Brothers of SCD
Bit like asking a very excitable 6 year old look after an even more excited toddler .

I think he aims at The Fonz (oh, how I wish those Henry Winkler rumours had been true!) and lands somewhere about Potsie.

A long, long time ago there was a programme called Junior Showtime (which was as toe curling as it sounds and featured a lot of Bonnie Langford). There was a young lad called Glynn Poole who featured heavily and also did the camera hogging, slow face drag across the camera as TTF. It just reminds me.

I thought that was really sad. Helen's very recently split from her husband and her dogs are the best she can get. I like Helen.

Thank you Aggs. 4 and a half decades had just about managed to make me forget ... then you have to bring it up again so soon

Look, if I'm getting the flashbacks I don't see why I shouldn't share the joy

Made me giggle

I can't stand them. All eyes and teeth. Beyond naff.

Perplexed that people keep banging on about what the great 'performer' PDuh is

Considering he's been performing now for nigh on 26 years one would expect him to be able to get on stage and deliver. Surely?

Not exactly an amateur, is he?

In that run, his knees were so high that I thought he would chin himself. Then I wondered if he'd been watching Kevin for tips

The Annual Snowden Slowstep award goes to P.Duh and MM for their my little pony tribute with enough faces pulled to sour the freshest milk, overmarked to the power of 10 by our dear judges. Talking of judges, are we going to have to put up with them dancing(?) /posing (?) on every week, it's got old already.

Someone in another thread said he reminds them of Lisa Riley, I think they're spot on. He has that heavy gallumping style that she had, where a total lack of technique is masked by "personality" and a "shucks, me" reality show shark personality
