True, it was probably the biggest production of the night.

Anyone notice that after Len was so petty and ignorant and narky with Giovanni he suddenly calmed down . Did the producers tell him to grow up and get a grip ?
Must say I found how he spoke to Giovanni very uncomfortable to watch

Yes. Giovanni wasn't the only pro to not choreograph much for their partner to do.

Where did they find that idiotic, hyped up on blue smarties bunch of hip replaced morons? Mind you, did think band played theme really well.

I'm still trying to stop laughing at PDuh marching around like Napoleon, John Sargeant was definitely a better marcher & his Christopher Robin dragging Winnie-the-pooh (Kristina) paso was so much better than that

Jay's Jive already has more then 50.000 facebook likes

(the highest in general each week is about 15.000 likes after a few days)

So, this year's winner is already clear (if it wasn't already). For the rest of them a fight for that spot in the final is the most they can achieve this year.

I thought it was going to be Gleb that got the petty Len treatment.
Maybe if Giovanni had had a shave as well, it could have been avoided.

Especially as the pros have been getting away with blue murder this series, Janette & Anton I'm looking at you, and the rumba is basically a load of poses joined together even when filled with content.

All of Giovanni's choreography has been parp though and he's incredibly ****ing annoying. Nobody deserves Len being all Len all over them, but he's the worst male new pro signing they've had since Jared. At least Tristan has the good grace to be pretty and not constantly drip like a Yankee Candle.

Not surprised re that number of ~likes~ I have just watched it about how many times on the BBC web site as the clips are up on there. Just brilliant! (and I am not a jive fan!)

I have to say I agreed with Len, he really didn't give her that much to do, I think Len could have worded it better, and maybe said it privately, but perhaps he has tried that. However tonight I gained a little respect for Anton for saying he was responsible for the choreography and not to penalise Katy for what he got wrong.

I don't like Len much he is a nasty homophobic grumpy old man most of the time. I loathe the way at least once per season he will say something hateful to Vraig. Nor Anton, he is lazy and encourages the audience to laugh at his celebs too often, so I am feeling a little queasy saying this.

Giovanni is squandering what talent she has as is Anton, one owned up, one didn't.

The knives are out for Jsy out there, as I have never minded " ringers" as far as I am concerned he has talent which is innate, bless Aliona for connecting to it, and well done Jay for overcoming performance nerves.

Just re-watched Jay's jive to show hubby (who was asleep at the time!) and got goosebumps again, even though I knew what to expect.

It's on the BBC strictly website under videos or clips.

Much as I loved Helen tonight, I thought she was actually a pretty p*ss poor Marilyn. Really don't think she managed to catch the playful essence of Marilyn at all.

Somebody needed to sneak her a couple of Vicodin, she's too intense for Marilyn.

I am loving the breakout of "Jay's getting an easy ride because he's male. It'd be a different story if he was female" remarks when he's getting an absolute pasting as a spotty arsed dirty ringah out there

Just catching up. Done 100 pages since just before the launch show and another hundred to go.

This quote is from just after the first show, and in real time Jay has just done his jive.

Sorry, sofs, just couldn't resist quoting it!
