I agree, he absolutely could dance a samba, just don't think in the world of Strictly he's got the necessary gurning DNA in him to get judge approval. A cool, laid back Charleston might work better, but I do agree, they will be wanting the 'breakthrough' dance from him in performance terms (although I thought both the waltz and jive were performed beautifully)
Out of interest just had a look at Anton/Katie's jive, Jay really is much better at the jive then Anton, which is pretty bloody disgraceful for a pro who'd been doing this for over a decade.
