Anyone else thinks that Anita has a huge chance of winning this?

And yet I don't know how I feel about it. In one hand, I have come round to loving Gleb, in the other hand Anita's has seriously started to grate on me (as mentioned before, she reminds me of Susanna Reid) but they have got the samba to hips don't lie which I think is a great combo perfect for her.
Yes but I'm convinced we will have a male winner this year. The finale will be 2 men ( jay and Peter ) and 2 women ( it could be Helen, Anita , Kellie or Katie ). I hope Anita makes the finale because she's the most talented woman celebrity this year imo.

I know it's early days but I think that Jay or Peter will win. This is year of the MAN !!

You'll never love Jay then, he's a huge fan of the backwards SnapBack 😂😂
I'll appreciate his dry, sarcastic wit and his dancing ability but I'll happily unappreciate his dress sense.

I did see him in training footage and my heart sank a little. What are you wearing?! and all that.

I think Peter has more chance of being a shock eviction than a finalis, he's just not a good enough dancer and Janette is just not strong enough a teacher to get him to improve.

I think final will be Jay, Anita, Helen and one other, probably Kellie if I had to bet on it.

He's young and not that vain so he's pretty relaxed about his clothes. My 16 yo is totally unimpressed with his fashion sense, in fact horrified is closer to his attitude. But then my son gets the shakes if he doesn't take 12 selfies an hour.

I can see Peter being out before the finals. He's been virtually dumped already. It took Jason until blanking on Wembley week before his bubble burst. Peter went from top of the board to mid-table before you could say Stomp.

Was it your midi-DOT who worships Joey Essex/ Mark Wright/ someone like that? I know someone's son did.

I agree with aggs, he's not good at ballroom and he's not good at Latin. Janette is not a good teacher and he's going backwards at a rapid rate. As judges hot up on technique, they're going to get harsher on him and the girls and maybe even Ainslie will go past him.

No, I get that, Jeremy is enthusiastic, and a delight to watch, Anita is keen and straying into Suzanna territory, thankfully her pro balances her out a bit, so she's not making me want t,o scream/cry/throw things at my tv.....yet.
I agree. I think that is what plays in her favour hugely. Gleb.

Its getting ugly out there >>>>>> about Jay . He must have rattled some cages with his jive I guess
Some cages? All of them!

I can imagine him having a bit of resurgence next week.
I actually think it's going to be quite interesting to see how the program manages him.

Good memory, my son is such a chav and yes he still loves Joey Essex. 😳😳😳 He thinks Mark Wright is a muppet though, so he's not all bad. But I think he likes Joey because he looks a bit like him and is dyslexic like him.

I know far more about TOWIE than is healthy for a woman my age.

Ugh...I hate Jay's QS song.
I am chuffed. Ask me to choose from the Stones, The Beatles or The Who and it's the Who every time.

Jay will win you round. He will bob round the floor like fury, and no Knees Up Mother Brown.

Blue Moday for a tango.....WTF

Don't like any of them, sorry. Not a lover of 60s/70s music

And Blue Monday might work, it's very staccato, just not with Anton doing it. If Aliona or Natalie were choreographing I'd be a little more confident, but the thought of Anton in a velvet jacket and roll neck dancing to one of my most beloved tracks is making me nauseous.

Just rewatched darcy bussels jive with Ian, it's a good way to see a how experience in other dances affect positive and negatively in performing ballroom.

Luckily it's ballroom so it won't be a jump suit with the rug out

I am actually a bit traumatised today! I am such a lightweight!!!
I wish I was a true DOT and not just a figured one so I could have a drink or two to calm my nerves!

Fecking multiquote won't work, I had a few other posts I wanted to reply to! Argh.

Anyway, I agree about Perjurer Pete. One of today's papers was talking about him being told to stop boasting about his sex life with, sure enough, a photo from SCD. That whole bit about his sex boasts is another thing lifted from the trial - it's not going away.

I think his problem is that he's in danger of not winning people around. He has his existing fan base, he picked up a few in the first weeks (including someone I was talking to tonight who thinks he's marvelous oh where is that rolleyes) but things like his whinge earlier are not going to pick up new supporters.

That perhaps is a problem of having come into the show with his life on a plate. Viewers like to learn a bit more about who they are watching - there's nothing new to be learned about him.

Bib I had never thought about that, but I am sure it's true for very big group of the viewers.

Being a DOT means knowing when to step away. Nothing you say will change anyone's mind,
Have your say, stand up for what you beleive then walk away. Because otherwise every argument is circular you say the same thing to the same people who have already made up their mind to have an opposing view
It's a discussion board not a change anyone's mind board.
It can be hugely irritating to see the board littered like a rash with multiple threads against your favourite but DVO was hated on this board. Week after week it was the same, and then she came second to a runaway winner

In fact many of the same posters posted the same post over DVO against her as they are doing now against Jay, it really bodes well for his future

It's also a lot easier to project whatever personality you like onto a blank slate and Peter's slate is already covered with plenty of scribble accrued over the last 20 years. Given that the VTs tell us less and less about these people with each passing series, a lot of these people are clay to be moulded.
