Blue Monday for a Tango, does that actually work*
It's very similarly paced throughout, apart from the sharp drum breaks, which are surely too rapid to get any decent footwork, head movements in And Beautiful Day for a Paso, WTF. Thinking about My Generation for a QS is currently making my head hurt ![]() *Obviously I do realise the 'suitability for the chosen dance' isn't the song picking monkeys primary consideration. |

Just seen who is dancing to Dream a Little Dream. That's one of my favourite songs and it's going to get the TTF treatment

.Ponders how much longer the public will go without noticing this ALL he can do, in fairness to him he clearly knows his limitations and had never tried to do sexy, ![]() However there are a range of stories to be told between saccharine and sexy, it might be nice if he visited them occasionally. Also perhaps leave the mid 20th century, odd he wasn't even born then, he has an overwhelming nostalgia for a time when he wasn't around. I was in the 60s and those nylon dresses and crimpalene men at c and a slacks, produced so much static on the dance floor when my mum and dad used to go dancing walking across the floor as a small child, the room was a shock hazard. Not to mention the fug made up of cigarette smoke, poor body hygiene , weekly baths and no deodorant or antiperspirant, hairspray, brill cream ,and fish paste sandwiches , with pickled eggs all drying up in the corner. Take it from me Kevin dancing in the 60s required no sense of smell and a willingness to be electrocuted 3 times on the run to the table to get a glass of pop. |

![]() 🙏Prays that Kevin never, ever realises there is a 'sexy' end to the spectrum. I think his Saturday morning tele must have been The Partidge Family, The Brady Bunch, The Monkees and Happy Days on repeat. I'm thinking of starting a 'Jay puts his right sock on before his left - this proves what a faker he is' thread. |

You too? It is also one of my all time favourites and I am appalled that those two twonks will be wrecking it for me
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm dreading this more then Blue Monday, Blue Monday is likely to be very, ummm, odd, this is just going to a saccharine sweet mess with added treacle and sugar on top

Being a DOT means knowing when to step away. Nothing you say will change anyone's mind,
Have your say, stand up for what you beleive then walk away. Because otherwise every argument is circular you say the same thing to the same people who have already made up their mind to have an opposing view It's a discussion board not a change anyone's mind board. It can be hugely irritating to see the board littered like a rash with multiple threads against your favourite but DVO was hated on this board. Week after week it was the same, and then she came second to a runaway winner In fact many of the same posters posted the same post over DVO against her as they are doing now against Jay, it really bodes well for his future |

It only works if its a very staccato, dead behind the eyes tango. The band will wreck it anyway.

Mind you, with Brendan's love of soft rock, I do wonder if this isn't his own choice, and will he take the opportunity to dress up as Bono - actually, it's been a while since we've had an overblown soft rock epic from Brendan isn't it, I could start looking forward to this

I remember being told at the end of last series, when I wasn't giving a hoot about any Caroline ringer-ness that people who were defending her would be remembered and it would be used against them next series if they changed their view - which - hhoookkkayyy
Luckily - view not changed. Shame really cos I couldn't give 2 hoots again this year, All our posts copied and pasted somewhere being completely wasted ! As you say hhoookkayyy |
