Just flicking thru my mum's copy of next week's Radio Times.

Jeremy Vine is doing a weekly strictly diary.

He reports that Helen sent a text to all other competitors "I've got an enormous splinter in my arse" from being swept along the practice room floor.
The woman could yet be DOT material
That's great - I like Helen and was getting a bit peeved by people insulting her mainly because of her hair.

FWIW I think Anita's hair is worse - stringy and that awful orange colour growing out (surely ombré isn't a thing any more? anyway black > orange isn't ombré, it's early Hallowe'en) she looked so amazing in that Demi wig, why didn't she take the hint?

I like Helen - not least because I love her speaking voice. I am a jellus hatah

I don't think I insulted her just said I think she looks nicer with shorter hair. Same with Jay, now I'm used to it, I like his hair shorter

I don't mean you, I mean some much more jellus hatahs out there who have labelled her brittle neurotic brainless identikit blonde

I do agree Helen looked stunning with the pixie crop and that the long straight Cleopatra style didn't suit her. But she is much more than her hair.

True!

Most flamenco fancers have awful personal lives. Partly is due to the background they come from which is marginalised and addiction riddle sadly.
That's true. I had forgotten Sad that. Such fire.

Think this might be a fab dance for her as she looks so vivacious dancing it. It brings her personality to life more than other dances have done

By the way .......

Shemar, Hugh and I will be away for the next two days, sending some time with Baryshnikov in his place in Noo Yawk and doing some flamenco by the pool, and maybe a mambo or two.

They say they need a break (poor babies) and I'm it sweeties. Bye, bye

That'll learn you!

Appreciate OurLeona almost dropping the Sunday ball
Appreciate Anton desperately trying to dig himself out of the 'lack of choreography because she's a bit pants at it' hole by saying exactly the same as before, but knowing it is coming out wrong
Jaypet really is just a nice lad.

She tweeted about that as well, Think it was before the first dance, apparently on the same day she elbowed Aljaz in the face to make him cry!

He's really summing up what I found when trying to dance (what I asked Sofs in the "ringahs" thread) about what's in the brain not transferring to various body parts.

Daniel is my secondary pet

Shouldn't that be brittle, neurotic, brainless, identikit blonde with literally years and years of unfair and probably illegal ballet training behind her?
I quite like Helen. I think she might just be one of those people who finds it difficult to really let herself go, so she comes across as aloof and stuck up when she really isn't.
And as a bonus, the longer she stays in, the more chance there is of Aljaz getting his horny mechanic outfit out again.

Zoe's gushing was so frigging irritating tonight on ITT, more so than usual. She gushed so much she asked Jaypet hardly anything. I'm learning, you don't ask him a direct question, he'll just smile nicely, he won't fill the inane gaps for you and from your hyperactive gushing. I'm looking at you Tess & you Zoe, even Claudia does it. Ask him a bloody question and stop wittering gormlessly.

She also gushed so much she let Anton squirm away on the lack of content in that cha cha question. He almost dropped himself in it by saying he couldn't give her any more because she couldn't bloody do it but nope, in witters Zoe letting him breathe a sigh of relief.

I don't expect Newsnight, but give them a chance to say something

Not just the cheekbones, but also her eyes. Love the eyeshadow. Jaypet also seems a very nice and well brought up . So much appreciating, it's uncharacteristic...

...however, it'll all be offset by the level of unappreciatijg i am capable of when P'duh does some literal interpretation (I'm not sure that's not an oxymoron) of the words "when you laid your hands upon me..." in his Blue Monday cheeztango. There isn't enough Shemar, Aidan, Toby and Zach out there to make that in any way bearable.

My favourite bit was Anton knowing full well what he was saying, but having to keep going and Katie looking at him knowing full well what he was saying and him not being able to hahahmarvelous his way out of it.
The wheels may be coming off the Year of the Anton

Unappreciating myself for almost admiring PDuh's fiendish brain in managing, on The One Show, in the space of 5 minutes, to bring up his charity work, his new album, his parent's 60th anniversary and his Strictly appearance! Bravo

Also laughing myself silly at how tiny he looks sitting next to Nick Knowles....

I think you'll find he's self taught from listening to Michael Jackson and Prince
