We were made to watch the Russian version of the film of Hamlet for A level English interminabley ?????!

However that actor appeared to have a hangover for the whole film, there is a part where he says my father ( moy dada) as his fathers ghost appears when he actually leans over the battlements and vomits.

The high drama, vomit and dada reference makes the entire film for me.

Anyone care to even try and explain why we had to watch it in Russian for English Lit ????

I'm seeing that tonight too, but only at an NT Live screening. Without the hangover though.

However, unappreciating that I do have a sore neck and can't look to the left properly, so I have booked a ticket on the left hand side of the cinema so that I only need to look to the right!

You know it must be so annoying knowing yourself to be a huge ringer, even teaching dance, to go on a show, being with whom you beleive to be a popular pro, doing what what you thought was going to be the most crowd pleasing dance of the evening..........

And then somebody danced better, is more popular with the studio audience, gets better scores and judges comments and you have to look pleased about it whilst wearing 2 buns on your head and a dress designed to show off your bandy legs.

When Anthony and Oti were doing the leaving huggy bit Ainsley was hugging Anthony when from the left flank Kellie pushed herself into prime position and pushed Ainsley out of her way to be straight in there with the important TV hug shot

Yes, I'm only seeing it at the cinema too. Gonna be another late one!

OMG. She is utterly shameless, isn't she?

Every time I see that hard little face and those weird little bandy legs I imagine her on a grim stage, in an even grimmer Grimsby, howling out 'It Should Have Been Me' in the wrong key to an audience of three drunks.

And me.

I'm not a great one for soap stars. I never watch soaps so they are all complete strangers. I don't even really regard them as actors either. I am therefore mostly immune.

But she gets right up my nose, like some boring old Am Dram bat who just won't get off the stage.

PDuh is just that really, brainless but harmless. He's just a bit too much, bit too fame hungry, bit too desperate, bit too humble, bit too try hard but I think he has a good heart underneath all the stupidity and chest clutching manfully.

She's just shark-eyed. She's throwing other celebs and pros off Claud 9 if they get in her way. Nothing and I mean NOTHING is going to get in her way. She's a STAR, it's her right to be centre stage, she's earned it, she's worked hard for it, what does some inconsequential boybander know about paying dues and grafting? She's hard as nails and worse than Denise Imo, Denise was arrogant but she wasn't really nasty. Kellie is the worst excesses a stage mother & a celeb whose been famous since they were a child combined. They've been told their fabulous all their life and she's had long enough to believe it and let it settle. Don't get in her way, she'll take you down.

She bloody well does and all, you can quite clearly see her bang on Anthony's shoulder so she can get her hug in

Hello all, just popping in to say I love this whole post ^, and thanks coppertop for putting into words all I wanted to say about that! It was so transparent wasn't it?! For the observant viewer. I saw the fake smile get switched on!
Sorry- coming into the conversation quite late, + quoting this again!
Yes quite a few lemons being passed around Claud 9 prior to that bit!

She somehow puts me in mind of a failed and ageing bitter Russian gymnast.

I have images of them all coming into work having suffered quite serious but unexplained accidents. Jay with a big bandage around his head having had a mysterious light sabre fall on his head. Gleb in plaster casted leg after someone leaving ET's bike in the corridor outside his dressing room door, Aljaz with 2 black eyes after someone saw him get hit in the face by two flying buns that came out of nowhere

So she does! I've just been back and watched and when the first tap on Anthony doesn't work, she gives him a right thump.

I completely missed that, then I remember I don't watch the results show thanks to the spoiler, so just caught up with it, what was it with their goodbye song - yikes that was embarrassing

Hello Alli-F, and thank you for the welcome . Hint taken, shall I bring alcohol stocks for Saturday, or do we need some for back-up right now? I'm ready to take a more active role in unnapreciating, when possible. I'm an occassional poster, -haven't posted in here for many a moon (ooh maybe since last year?)- so probably no-one will know me! But alcohol helps things along right?
I have lurked and chuckled so far this year, and often 'lol'd'...

This is how I feel about Peter, too. Orange and cheesey, but mostly harmless (except under oath praps ). The judges have another male to rave about now, so hopefully they'll stop saying how brilliant his dancing is (which is what actually gets up my nose) and critique him properly. I was a bit alarmed discussing Strictly with friends last night that all seven thought he was 'a great dancer'. They're just civilians, so know nussing , but it's worrying they listen to the judges. Pfft.

Unappreciating Anita being compared to Susannah - and maybe I see the media trained thing - but I can't unlike her after watching her WDYTYA episode. I think she's great.

Back up alcohol is always a good idea, Twee Fwog & Titzilla haven't been on ITT yet this week
