I think his 15 year old sister, an insane One Direction fan, has been let loose on Caroline myself, only explanation I can come up with for dressing a woman with a fab figure like that.

Recycling cossies.
Cost cutting?
I also noticed that Lance and Tommy seem to be taking it in turn to appear so that the Club singer from Doncaster can get his wallet face in shot.

Although I suppose he is first choice when a 'rock' song is going to be given the Day Varch treatment.

Also, I guess week two is the time for existentialism out there. Why is Thom Thom? Deep shizzle so early on in the series...

I've always wondered why isn't Tom Thom?

Remember the movie Thoroughly Modern Millie?

I think Tom looks like that bloke with the pipe in his mouth who has the drugged dart in his neck when he's sitting in the car outside.

Tom has the same expression as that bloke.

I wonder does Iveta give dance instructions like "if possible, make a U-turn" ?

I have it on good authority, from the Daily Star, that Tom is Thom because his mum is Chris Eubank.

Has there ever been a convincing Tango where the female dancer wore a baby pink dress with a ribbon tie waist - even before you get to the whole music issue?”

I had a brief, horrifying thought that they were going to dance to Girls just wanna have fun! when I saw the dress and the set. Then Stop! started and... well.

Tango as brought to you by Barbie's Dream House.

Caroline's the one that War Drobe's boyfriend fancies this year, I take it?

Pixie's waltz was lovely but she reminded me of a Disney princess at Euro Disney. The women who has to pretend to be Cinderella, specifically. Very pretty, very nice, not allowed to say anything of substance for fear of ruining small children's visions of Cinderella.

(Also surely it's not a proper ronde de jambe if your leg doesn't complete the semi-circle, though that's a critique of Craig rather than of Pixie, who I think did what the choreography asked her to. The first looked more like a slow fan kick than a ronde de jambe to me, and while she did bring her leg all the way to the back the second time, it was very low by the time she got it there - still not a proper ronde de jambe in my book )

Still not sure why Aliona was dressed as a French maid but I'd quite like to see that routine with someone who can dance.

Frankly baffled by Frankie's Charleston. 1920s filtered through a 1970s view of the 1950s, as interpreted by two people in the 2010s. Did Kevin think that Strictly through the Decades theme had returned and he wanted to get as many bingo points as possible?

Bravery awards of the week go to Janette and Iveta, who both came within a hair of being dropped on their heads. I love that Janette got to dance a better salsa this year, being as that was her speciality in the first place, and the tricks were amazing. Iveta... had a lot of faith in Thom's strength getting them through the lifts. Good grief. I seriously thought Iveta was going to end up in a heap on the floor.

Simon amused me when he was up in Claudia's area and wasn't the focus. Not sure if he didn't realise he could be seen or if he was genuinely a bit miserable. I think it was during Jake's bit that you could see him sit down, then stand up to join everyone else giving an ovation, then give up and sit down again. Too tired to put up with all the ovating, clearly.

Getting really fed up with this constant 'Oh Thom you are so sexy' thing going on. To me, he's looks like he's just come alive in a shop window and wondered into the Real World. My sister is convinced he is in love with Iveta which is why he is staring at her constantly in It Takes Two. I think he is thinking 'Are you my mummy'. (Dr Who reference sorry).

And sorry to say this if there are any Ola fans, but is she recycling her dance from previous years? And why does she keep wearing costumes with the sides not sown up and why does she have her mouth open during the dance? And I really like Steve Backshall in the comfort of his own programme, but he looks slightly grimy.

To my eye Ola just recycles the same dances year after year.

BIB I know nothing about dance apart from the little picked up from strictly, but sometimes wonder if Craig really knows much as well? He goes on and on listing little details of thumbs up and splayed hands and throws in the odd ballet term and then spends his own segment on ITT justifying what he said because often it was only a momentary problem he picked up on or he was just plain wrong but won't admit it. (I'm mostly thinking of last season, further into the competition.) He makes me think of The Emperor's New Clothes scenario I thought what he said to Alison about her moments dancing on the coffee table in week 1, was particularly low, especially when every time he is required to do anything on the dance floor at the weekend or his entrance at ITT we get the same 3 spin turns not particularly well done himself.

I do think Craig knows a little about dance having been a dancer and now a respected choreographer, however I think he knows less than he thinks he knows. He is a pantomime of himself anyway, I used to think he was at least consisitant and then he started with the Widdecome, Lisa, Allison favouring and he lost that fairness he had had.

Whilst I am on the subject of Allison, what am I missing, she is not annoying me as much as I thought she would, having declared her heroine to be Lisa, however why are peole in raptures over her?
It is eluding me, she is ok and can move well, for her size, but that's all, she strides rather than dances across the floor. She is enjoying herself but so are others, I am sorry I just don't understand why peole think she is so amazing. Anyone want to explain this to me please?

That's very unfair.
Sometimes she puts in 2 starfish, one knee slide.
Sometimes it's just the one starfish, and a kneeslide
And occasionally she goes out on a limb and omits the knee slide altogether

She's partnered with Aljaz which makes me shamelessly sell out all my principles. They could partner him with the reanimated corpse of Elizabeth Bathory wrapped in peach chiffon and I'd be saying 'Ok, Liz may have bathed in Tess's blood this week but she's not all bad. Did you see those kicks and flicks?'

He's a young Desperate Dan before the steroids and the excess of Cow Pie turned him into a hulk!
