Feel better for that

A really good rant often helps, I can't get too uptight about Craig as it is all pantomime and he appears to be a really nice man behind it all.

And if that does not help just think his fag hag is Miss Widdecombe, that much be punishment enough for 10 lifetimes

Me too. That was a stupid segment and they ran out of time and so cut off Tim and Natalie switching their board light off. I know it's a rubbish thing anyway but cutting off Tim and Nat was awful.
Deeply unappreciating having the eliminated couple on last on a Monday. It's all wrong,

I would like to unappreciate the entire Grimsby pollution of SCD. That is all.

I think you are in good company here.

I really hope that daddy Grimsby is really busy , otherwise if I were Anton I would be quite afraid

I agree that the wall and switching your light off adds nothing. It would be better to have the eliminated couple on first.

No balloon animals. It fits in the category of a chihuahua predicting who will be .. whatever.
If its something someone would come up with when stoned, drunk and just awoken from a deep sleep to be asked an open-ended question, then don't do it.

We are talking people who's surname appears to be 'From Grimsby', rather than people who are actually from Grimsby - because I've met some of those people and I didn't want any of them to disappear down a deep manhole.

I honestly thought there was going to be a punchline - like Frankie was revealed as some sort of balloon animal making ninja or something - but it just started odd, got odder

Poor Anton

Having been notified on another thread that apparantly JFG's birthday is this week and with FFG being last week, I am really worried that daddy Grimsby's birthday was 9 months ago.......

My apologies, of course, that is those people who are 'From Grimsby' not from Grimsby. I'm sure there are very lovely people living there who I would not want to harm, they're just sadly not represented on SCD.

I reckon they're plotting to get Daddy From Grimbsy doing the Wednesday warm up and Mummy (I bet that's what Joanne still calls her) From Grimsby doing choreography corner.

Is there a big ballroom in Grimsby?
Are they trying to set it up as an alternative venue to Blackpool??

Have the BBC invested in the building of such a Grimsby ballroom?
Are the Clifton family on the Board of Directors??

I've also contemplated having a foray up into the attic to start a From Grimsby Appreciation Thread in which I'd praise JFG's choreographic skills and the excellent job she's doing with Scott and post that KFG was sexier than George Chakiris dancing to America....

...but I fear my sarcasm might not be understood outside this thread.

Apart from it being irrelevant and people generally not G'ing an F about Grimsby I'm not sure I have got my head round why Joanne and Kevin are so unpopular

I doubt they have personally made the producers spend so much time and money making pointless VTs in Grimsby/Hull/Cleethorpes and/or balloon animals

But the "From Grimsbys" are actually from Waltham (the posh outskirts near the countryside don't you know) - and I've had some... interesting... encounters with people there...

This DOT needs wine after the way today has gone!

I heard there may be another 'from Grimsby' interested in doing the show. Pop starlet Ella Henderson. She's from Tetney which is as much Grimsby as Cleethorpes is, but, hey, don't let that stop them.

I'm intrigued about these interesting encounters!

Ha! I often think of that post when I see people mention that he's actually from Cleethorpes although, with flugella now saying that they're actually from Waltham, it's probably good that they're not using their real home name... Joanne would be JFW and I wouldn't want poor John from Wales's name tarnished!

Appreciating that I don't have a Twitter account so I can't get arrested for the pure filth I'd like to ask Tristan for next week's new ITT segment. I'm quite looking forward to the combination of Tristan, Natalie and Aliona. I'm praying that Aliona is really, really honest.

Surely they are going to do choreography corner and then only answer the most sanitised boring questions (and then probably only one or two each)?!

They can't afford to make this new segment more interesting than Zoe's bits?

At least we seem to have been saved from a "people's champion" Lisa/Widdy segment (for the moment).

I'd like to unappreciate the fact that Karen Hardy seemed to be dictating what we should be thinking and seeing.

I haven't seen last nights ITT yet... did she, by any chance, manage to comment on the actual choreography for a change? (I suspect that I already know the answer to this)

From memory she spent most time saying that the judges were being picky with the contenders. She also loved Pixie's rumba. I don't recall any comments re the actual choreography.

I can't really remember - and then the news that Tristan, Natalie and Aliona were being drafted in for cover pushed everything else out anyway
The beauty of Aliona is that she doesn't have to say a word to say everything

Other thing I vaguely remember - Jake is so deadpan it's brilliant - and it gives Zoe nothing to work with at all.
