Interesting question, I did a little digging on the BBC for some info on Eastenders. Unfortunately I can't find anything definitive but you can estimate a rough range.

Firstly, the writers. They might well probably be contractors paid per episode, but assuming they were full time employees they are probably at around BBC Pay Grade 7-9 (for reference a researcher would be Grade 5, a senior program editor Grade 11, out of a maximum 11.)

Let's say a less senior writer in London was equivalent to Grade 7 - they'd earn £31k - £47k. A more senior writer in London at Grade 9 could earn between £39k - £59k.

As for DTC, it's unclear as he'd be classed as a Divisional Director, and the BBC don't publish their salaries. For reference, when Kate Harwood was Head of Drama, a direct line manager to the EPs of EE, Holby, Casualty etc. she earned a £205k base salary. It's not unimaginable that an EP would be one or two salary brackets down from this.

I heard for writers it's a 250 - a grand per used script depending on experience.
