Why would EE want him back: dreadful voice and no acting ability

Health and safety will not be risking anything now. If it's snowing, it's off
It was snowing when Joe did his practice jump.

I get that H&S is edgy after all the accidents, but it's all getting rather pointless.

Arge is out (again).
Until next week of course
Davina did amazingly well not to say "again" at any point. What a pro.

Bell is far too excited about this rubbish.
He's being paid well to be excited about this nonsense so he'll do what he's being paid for, which is effectively to polish this stinking foul smelling turd of a show until it glistens like a diamond twinkling in direct sunlight on the snow and smells of roses.

Did you notice how Heather Mills elbows her way to the front of the group every time to get screen time. Odious woman

I'm still reeling from her "philanthropist" label.
aren't those people who donate huge sums of time and money for charitable causes?
the same person who moaned for years she didn't have enough money?

And doesn't her money come from Paul anyway

It would be more honest for the show if they just said owing to H&S they aren't using the main jump this series. I seriously don't know how Davina can keep a straight face
I'm watching this on +1 so have just heard that comment and I agree with you, they are being very disingenuous with their excuses. The weather appears perfectly normal for winter sports, not adverse, so rather than deceiving viewers with weather excuses just give a bit of straightforward honesty and treat viewers with a modicum of brain matter between the ears.

The Jump is so poor on so many levels now. Full of the usual suspects z - listers who always do the rounds time and again. A very poor formatted competition. The injury issues, and on top of all that a clear disregard for the truth.

Are any lessons actually going to be learnt from this disasterous show for the future of reality TV in general?

Does anyone actually give a toss about who does what and is going to "win" this show?

Its getting ripped to shreds on Twitter
exactly what people are saying on here. Last year really was such an improvement
how the hell they can still suggest this weekly format means more live events (which they stated) and more excitement

Davina's own words when I tweeted her

Davina McCall ‏@ThisisDavina · Jan 26

@atj00007 nope... More live events X ! Even more excitement!

Yeh the Beth Tweddle injury was way to serious for a laugh and joke celeb show that the this has become. I think their lack of taking it seriously has contributed to the injuries.

There is no chance it is being renewed, the ratings are tanking.
BIB The most serious injuries have happened to sports people (Beth & Rebecca) and I wonder if being very competitive has contributed to their injuries - trying that bit too hard to achieve good results.......

The ones who have been taking it less seriously (who have previously been accused of 'messing about') have not been trying quite so hard and (up to a point) keeping themselves safe - or rather safer!

So is this just going to carry on for eternity with Arg being eliminated every week until he's the last one standing?

Also understandable they bottled the ski jump but I kind of think the Air Jump actually looks more likely to course injury. Also agree it was a mistake to axe the smaller jumps.

Ratings and the willingness of participants will determine if it comes back - I think it probably will myself but maybe they'll skip a year and hold it back to coincide with the 2018 Olympics/Paralympics. If they've any sense too they would pre-record the whole series too although it's clear a slick reality show isn't what they're going for, and it being very rough and ready is actually part of the charm.

Arge is the type of reality TV star, If they did a show on celeb Colonoscopies he would be there like a shot. Just don't understand how the TOWIE/MIC lot keep getting these jobs over and over. Hope Eddie names and shames the entrants who aren't doing the training
Could it be that most other people have got more sense?

the way swash was rubbing his shoulder I'm guessing that's the next Injury
its actually incredibly annoying last year they really good the mix/pace right
soon as they announced a weekly format it just stank of a farce.

Sorry if they want any credibility left just release a statement saying owing to the problems this year only the Air jump will be used.

the proof is there. Just using the Airjump look how they were taking off? can you imagine that lot doing that without the airbag. haven't the producers realised people can see they have no shape on landing on hard surface?

I know each to their own etc etc when it comes to what we watch, but WHY would anyone want this back for another series ... it is SH1TE. And as for Davina saying a few nights ago re: Beth Tweddle 'going in for routine surgery' is surgery for any of us ever 'routine' when it's due to an incident/accident? Pathetic.

Maybe they'll eventually pull it when someone breaks their neck and is killed ... our will they simply instruct Davina to say 'they're being taken to the morgue for routine bagging and tagging.'

Joe Swash has sustained what has been widely reported as a serious shoulder injury. Well even if it is only a more minor injury why the hell was he even taking part in the skiing and then the jump tonight? What kind of person does such things when injured, even slightly? More to the point what kind of people are behind the scenes on this show allowing it to happen? It defies belief, allowing injured people to compete and very possibly make things far worse, rather than allow proper recovery time.

Totally understand the point you are making.
If they picked up a series of "celebs" I cant see Swash getting much for this gig or bloody Arge. But the commitment isn't there, they are paying more out in insurance
at the moment the only competent ones are Dean and Heather.

Last series they had a few nights of bad snow showers but the Jump still took place
far worse than tonight. Those approaches and landings were atrocious on the whole
most were even losing balance whilst on Take off.

They need to lose the Air Jump if it comes back again.

Fair enough have the massive ski jump as an option but I miss the proper excitement of even the smaller ski jump. Will they land it? With the air jump, there is so little skill involved it's so boring. Very poor decision making by the producers this year.

Love the Moguls at the Olympics not so sure about with this lot, it seems they really tried to push the show and contestants more this year when really they aren't fit for it.

Also was Heather that much of a pain in the arse last year?? I didn't think she was but she's insufferable this year. I was raging when Tamara lost. Also it kind of annoys me how when someone like Tamara and last year Lady V can ski since they were kids the coaches make such a point about how they ski "old school" style. Yep and so what they can ski, then the coaches try and change their style and probably actually put them backwards rather than improve on what is there.

The only thing that interested me about Ben was seeing if Kristina was going to be there given he wasn't all that supportive of her in BB. They'll split by the end of 2016.
