Then we have the ever changing cast of celebrities, depending on who's had to withdraw and who they've got in to replace them. I think Arg might have set some sort of record for a reality show - being eliminated, brought back, and then eliminated again, all in the space of eight days. If somebody else gets injured and has to withdraw this week, I wouldn't rule out him returning again and going for the hat trick.
Also the big jump, will it ever be used? They gave it a big build up in show two, showing all the celebs on it, but not actually using it in the live competition. You would naturally assume that it would have been used last night, but it wasn't, in fact I'm not even sure it was mentioned, although I did miss the first twenty minutes. They almost seem to be pretending it isn't there now, which is a bit daft, when you can see it all lit up in the wide shots when they're doing the runs on the ski course next to it. It's entirely possible that the big jump may never be used at all, which would kind of defeat the purpose of the entire show - it is called The Jump after all. Perhaps they think the big jump is too dangerous to use, but it's too late to remodel the course and go back to smaller jumps as they had in previous years.
I think Channel Four will be crossing their fingers that there are no more serious injuries in this in the remaining three weeks, and then I doubt it will be seen again.”
As things currently stand:
There are 9 contestants in it.
5 withdrawals due to injury
Tina Hobley
Rebecca Adlington
Beth Tweddle
Mark-Francis Vandelli
Linford Christie
4 replacements
Tom Parker
Heather Mills
Joe Swash
Ben Cohen
5 original contestants
Brian McFadden
Dean Cain
Sarah Harding
Sid Owen
Tamara Beckwith
2 genuine eliminations
Louisa Lytton
James "Arg" Argent
Arg is an original contestant but he was also used as a replacement for Linford Christie, which is unbelievably stupid when you consider that the week before Linford was injured and the show felt that if he was rested he'd be okay. In that same week Arg was eliminated and Linford given a pass to the next round. But in the next round Linford was withdrawn due his injury which didn't get better anyway and as a consequence Arg brought back again.
Crazy I know.

As there's 9 left in it, 5 who have been injured, and 4 replacements, that means that we're one man/woman short.
That person was probably Zara Holland who was due to come in but who show producers felt wasn't equipped enough to cope with the competition.
So, we have the problem of being one man down in week 3 of 6.
Either the show will have to reorganise their plans for the next 3 weeks and change the schedule in some way, or it will have to finish a week early, or another replacement needs to be brought in.
If we are to believe that Zara Holland wasn't deemed able enough because she was drafted in as a quick replacement as there were no more stand-ins, then this might suggest that Arg may be back yet again to fill in for that missing spot.

Or if not Arg, then Louisa. As these are the only two spare people available out there who have had the training.
There are no more stand-ins so what else can they do?
3 weeks left. If anyone else gets injured then the show is on the verge of having big problems. As there have been 5 injuries in 3 weeks out of 6, then what are the chances of the remaining contestants getting to the final week unscathed?
