I know noone really cares, but I have really had it with Corrie. Am 45 years old and have been watching it since I was old enough to be aware. I used to watch with my gran sitting on her knee and I have watched it and discussed with my mum for the past 25 years. no more. It is just so painfully rubbish. I have slowly been becoming more disengaged over the past year and now it's got the point where I don't even realise I haven't seen it. I'm quite busy during the week and often miss the nightly episodes, but always considered it my weekly treat to watch the omnibus on the weekend. I don't even bother with that anymore. I'm so bored by it all that I can't even be bothered to read the SOR thread (which I used to love!). bah.

Don't give up on the SOR thread, it's hilarious. Corrie certainly isn't what it was with too many characters I don't care for, Tracyluv, Todd, Moancelle mainly and story ,lines that drag, Peter and Jim for example but still can deliver comedy which is what it has always done best.

Just use the TV episodes as a tool to understand the real entertainment, the SOR thread.

OP, I can't say that I blame you. I only watch because
1) It switches my brain off after a long day at work
2) it gives me something to contribute on the SOR threads

Hopefully one day it will return to this planet.
