Similar but not the same. Edith's voice is also similar to many others.

I've been to a lot of music showcases and gigs, talent competitions and karaoke nights. Every single time I go there is a 'Kim', a girl who never varies what songs she sings and always goes for the soppy ballads and is never adventurous, has a voice that is technically good but just the same as every other karaoke singer, and who will go nowhere in the music industry for those reasons.”
If any of them sound like a good karaoke singer, it's Edith. There's nothing interestingly different in her interpretations either. The world is full of wannabee rock chicks who sound much like Edith.

“Kim is just not unique in any sense of the word. Edith, on the other hand, is. Her style is different, she varies what she does and her voice doesn't sound like anyone else's. Although Debra's voice really got on my nerves, hers was unique, too. But Kim... meh. Rubbish.”
How can you think Edith's voice doesn't sound like anyone else's?
Perhaps you just don't listen to enough different kinds of music.

“What I hated about her though was her false modesty. She was the only one to say that she hadn't thought what she would do if she won. Why? Because she thought she would.”
You're a mind-reader too, I see.
