Re-introducing Kelvin would actually be a good idea, and as you say could be paired with Denise.

Rob Cross would be in the vain of Sean Slater and DTC would need to be clever in the casting of Rob so somebody who can ACT is very important not just a pretty face.

I think Kelvin would be recast as I am not sure that Paul J Medford is still acting.

I'd definitely pitch a fire at R&R and kill off Dexter, Alfie, Tina and Kim.

Yes he does but is usually in Theatre and dance nowadays.

An interview with him from last year:

Also considering he is 47 years old he NO WAY looks his age!

Zoe Slater would definitely be a recast.

I would give Paul J Medford first refusal, if he refuses there are plenty of other Black Actors out there.

Some good suggestions vaslav, I would love to see Zoe return even as a recast I feel Kat still lack the family unit she had with the Slaters.

Let me be the one to congratulate you on Some good ideas there Vaslav, I believe you would make a great EP

I especially like the suggestion to bringing back the carpenters. More original characters would make Eastenders feel like it was Yesterday once more.

We all know breaking up is hard to do, but it would be good for Denise to move on and find someone new.

Please, mr postman Masood could really do with some story lines, any suggestions?

If Zainab can't return then let's get Bushra or a sister in for Masood.,

Paul J Medford lives in LA so I am not sure if he would return.

One return that has been suggested on here in the past is that of Ali Jr (Sue and Ali's second son).

This would work as:

a) The character is a returnee (however a recast)
b) Is a Turkish character - so would tick boxes on diversity
c) Could pave the way for guest returns of Sue and Ali, or at least find out what happened to them.

Most of EE's returns have been of more recent characters from the 00's. We have not seen many 80's character returns apart from Sharon, Wicksy (briefly) and Den over 10 years ago.

I don't think we will ever see Sue & Ali again but I like the idea of Ali Jnr arriving.

Some good ideas would love see the back of Lee, completely disagree with the axing of Billy, Mo and Tamwar, however I still don't understand why you keep requesting more ethnic minorities to make it more realistic with the East End, only to axe 4 minority characters, then add 4.
I wouldn't mind seeing Kelvin back at some point.

Yes shame he didn't live somewhere close to you because he could commute by driving or get a ticket to ride the tube. It wouldn't take him long to get to the studio except on rainy days and Mondays probably.

We've only just begun Dominic's reign as EP, but I hope he has firm plans in place for building on the diversity.

You have some fab ideas, you are a superstar.

I'd give Ross Kemp an offer he couldn't refuse to return as Grant. I really miss him and I think his return would be amazing

I'd like Paul Truman to still be alive and return as well

Ok, let's do this ....

I am going too axe the following characters as I want a fresh, neutral look on the Square this autumn but hey, I am here too produce great drama, not win friends..

so over the next few months viewers will be saying goodbye too:

Linda Carter.
Tina Carter.
Donna Yates
Peter Beale.
Roxy Mitchell.
Billy Mitchell.
Lola Pearce.
Abi Branning.
Whitney Dean
Alfie Moonj.

I shall be introducing One new family, and a host of "singletons" who are sexy, street-wise and will bring fresh things too the show.

I would introduce The Carpenters in the shows 30th Year, as Kelvin was part of the original Teen group and I feel he is still pretty current given his friendship with Ian, Sharon and we will see a great friendship develop with Dot too. He will arrive in Walford with a vision. To open up a bakery ... His fiancé, Charis will arrive with him and find life in Walford a bit sedate for her liking, she likes too go out for expensive meals every night and wears designer clothes 24/7... with her comes her two children, Byron Phillips who is just about too start Art college in London and Coco (named after Channel) who is 14 going on twenty five and wants too be just like her Mummy. The Carpenters will open Dough but they will soon hit snags when it's revealed one of the family hasn't been all that honest .. and the past soon catches up with them!

As far as the Singletons go , we will be featuring a student share house for the first time ... Byron Phillips will move in with four other students and we will see a big STI storyline in the first few weeks of my arrival amongst these characters. Joining Byron at Number 34 George Street will be India, who is a bit wild, parties hard and catches the eye of one walford lad within seconds of arriving. Ged, who is from Newcastle and is obsessed with fitness... he will soon be racing rings round Ian beale who employs him at the restaurant as a chef. Also joining them is Harriet, who hasn't lived much, she is a bit mousey and her ideal night out would be in a library ...reading. She strikes up a very good friendship with Tamwar. Last but not least is Sirovec who is polish, and has never lived away from home before, He has a troubled past but wants everything in Walford too go great.. and then there is Byron Phillips, smart, sensitive, Bi sexual and happy with his own skin... spends way too long in a morning getting ready and also DJ's at the Albert at weekends. He is the one too watch folks, He has one hell of a shock arriving any day now for his beloved family and friends!!

so what stories can you expect .,.. well, there is an STI story, a story about homophobia as I really feel we need to address it, it's surprisingly not about Johnny but about homophobia in Sport! there's big stories on the way for The Masoods who let a stranger into their lives when Shabnam's husband arrives from Pakistan. Also a huge story arch begins when Emma Summerhayes shoots someone and we see the backlash to that shooting and the effects will turn into something massive! things get way out of hand for Emma and The Brannings! Aleks also got a big story which will involve Liam, Cindy and we will find out what hold He has on The Cokers too. Oh and watch out for a great week off the square that takes us into the lives of Tosh, India, Liam and Rainee.
