I shall be getting the Edge purely because it's something different. There's a sad lack of innovation in the phone market at the moment. I note both the Note 4 and Note Edge sim free are available for pre-order from German dealers...at a price!!

Massive rip off to order at this stage from there.

Won't be cheap though anyway but you are right a phone with proper innovation and it some ways justifies its price.

Gear headset is something i am curious to see priced.

I cannot wait for the Note 4 to get released, it will be interesting to see the tariffs for it, but chances are they will be similar to the new iPhone Plus.

can't see them being that high to be honest although probably expensive you can at least have some comfort you are paying for something worthwhile

Always worth waiting a couple of weeks. The price always drops.

Good point Android manufacturers don't fix prices so as with all normal products early adopters will pay more.

Oh, i don't know i have not seen any evidence of them forcing mobile providers to fix pricing. However you may know better so when does this happen then, which phones?

At the moment I am paying £37 for my S3 tariff, which only has 500 minutes of calls & I subscribe to Spotify separately. So if the Note 4 is about £48 - £50 per month with unlimited minutes and Spotify on a 4G plan, then it would be worth me getting it, especially as Vodafone are currently offering a bonus of 6 months Netflix on certain 4G Tariffs.

I don't know what deals they agree with mobile providers. But as far as price fixing is concerned, they have form, so I'm sure anything is possible.

Yes, and you will get a lot more data with the new deals. I do some work for a company that gets a corporate discount on Vodafone and I believe employees can also offer it to family and friends, so it is worth checking if you know anyone.

Oh I see it was another one of those kidspud posts based on no knowledge and facts as per usual, never let's move after the usual pointless diversion.

And as I asked, fixing the price of mobile phone prices?

People are asking about the release of the note 4, doubt very much they are interested in fixing ebook prices or the like or that it adds much to the conversation.

So do you have any evidence of Samsung fixing mobile phone prices, like other manufacturers or shall we put this in the usual 'kidspud's view best ignored' box.

I don't know of any company that have fixed the price of their phones, it was you that brought up price fixing. Not sure why you tried to divert the thread, but I'm sure you had your reasons as usual.

You can put it in any box you like. I wasn't replying to you in the first place.

I wish you would, rather than launch into another one of your attempts to twist what was said.

Nothing to twist you said nothing as per usual.

I do wait to hear though how you mocked those with the 6+, just as you do with those using a note. Strangely I am yet to see any posts confirming you consider this huge phone a joke yet. I am sure they will be coming though, won't they?

Give me chance, I don't know anyone with a 6+ yet. Don't worry, if anyone I know buys one I will be having a good old laugh.

Shame of it is the person I know who is most likely to buy it is the one who currently owns the note.

I said I will wait no problem, although I am sure those claiming to be buying it on here will feel the lash out your devastating wit soon enough.

He will be in for it then, may never leave the house again.

I don't know how true this is, but Clove are reporting that The Note 4 will be out in the UK on the week of the 13th October at a price of £575 including VAT. However the Note Edge won't be coming to the UK at launch.

See, an expensive android phone. In an iphone thread there would have been uproar by now at the high cost, but in an android thread people don't bat an eyelid.

I am tempted by this phone. Keep looking at reviews on youtube and I'm quite impressed. Still time to cancel my iphone 6+ order, seeing as it won't be dispatched for at least 3 weeks.
