What is everyone's order status on the 50th anniversary box-set? Mine just says pre-ordered and they haven't started preparing for dispatch.

Ordered mine from BBCShop - said it was dispatched on Saturday, but not arrived yet.

Dispatched from the BBCShop. Still a few days from release.

Amazon don't normally dispatch until about the friday/Saturday/sunday before release date

My order is with the bbc shop. Fact-received an email last Saturday saying my order has benn dispatched. The money was taken from my account on Tuesday. As of now not received the set and I don think anyone else has.

My order from the BBC shop was dispatched (allegedly) on Saturday, but the money was taken on Tuesday.

When you pre-order DVDs or games from Amazon, they usually send it to you first class (for no extra cost). The release date is Monday 8th September so you can probably expect yours to be dispatched two days before and no earlier.

So if it isn't dispatched by Saturday, then it might be a little late. Amazon haven't always ensured my pre-orders arrive on release day even though I selected the "get it on release day" option.

(This is all assuming Amazon handles DVDs and Blu-Rays in the same way as games. I have only ever pre-ordered games from Amazon)

I ordered mine from the BBC shop and since Monday afternoon it has been stated as been dispatched so should arrive in the next few days i hope

It will arrive on Monday and not a day before even if saying dispatched

I had an email from the BBC Shop on Monday to say it had been dispatched... but they didn't take the money from my account until Tuesday...

BTW, I thought the standalone DVD release of Deep Breath with extra features, was due to be released next week, Monday 8th?

I had another look on Wednesday, on amazon, and the date had changed. They now say the week after, Monday 15th.

I so hope that isn't right and next week I'll see Deep Breath on the shelf in my local HMV.

According to some that ordered it from BBC shop deep breath has been pushed back a week due to a production error

I ordered a couple of copies of the 50th box set from the BBC. They sent me an e-mail on Monday saying that it had been sent out. However, I live in Texas, so, if they sent it out early, the long transit time could be the reason.

Hearing that some have had them delivered from the BBC shop this morning.

Me too. BBC Shop have managed to get me Who pre orders the Saturday before official release date several times now. Once even on a Friday!

Ive ordered mine from the BBC shop in the last 10min and its preparing for dispatch already!
Im excited to see all the extras like An Adventure in Time and Space in HD on BluRay, the 5ish Doctors rebooted and The Science of Doctor Who ect.

I so wish they had been able to release something like this sooner but I suppose they couldnt do it before Christmas last year! lol
I guess having it in time for the new series was a good idea!

It was supposedly delivered yesterday (after being sent to the wrong part of the country on Friday) and signed for by someone with the same surname as me but the first name doesn't correspond to anyone who lives at my address.


Amazon have said to enquire with the neighbours in case it was left with them due to no one being home but

1. I was home the time it was supposedly delivered
2. None of the neighbours have the same surname as me

So after being delivered to an unknown person with the same surname as me on Monday it showed up as being back in transit on Tuesday and was finally delivered to me Today.

My BluRay set arrived from the BBC shop today.

I still haven't received mine, but I live in Texas, so I don't know how long it is supposed to take to reach me. Does anybody have any idea?

If your in Texas I dont quite get where your sourcing it from, as its not been released in the US or region 1/A for DVD/BluRay as far as I know.
I guess that if you have ordered the UK/Europe region 2/B Ozzie region 4/B DVD/BluRay version then you would have to wait for international shipping which could take from 7-23 days I believe?

I ordered it from the BBC. They told me via e-mail that it should be region free, so I ordered the Blu-Ray. (2 of them actually; one is for a friend for Christmas.)
