So this is my first ever fanfic for a soap that desperately needs saving and I have my plans to make it a realistic soap opera.

NEW HOLLYOAKS EP REVEALS PLANS FOR SOAP

The newly appointed Hollyoaks executive producer Ella Leah has revealed that "the soap desperately needs saving and realistic plots need to be written."

"The soap has been in danger for some time now," reveals Ella as we sit down to chat about the new storylines.

"I want to explore a more realistic side to the soap, it's been far too sensationalist and the storylines haven't made any sense but I'm here to change that."

"One thing I want to explore is the truth about Patrick and Sienna in particular, it's something that has felt rushed and needs to be in depth."

HOLLYOAKS

Music playing: OneRepublic - Love Runs Out

The episode begins with Lindsey holding a letter in her hand as Freddie walks into the living room watching her every move. Sighing, he looks at the envelope and notices that it's a letter from the hospital. Nervous, he realises that it must be the results from the paternity test but doesn't ask Lindsey to open the letter, instead however, he leaves her be. Lindsey clutches the letter and runs upstairs as Freddie switches on the TV. Robbie walks in. "What's wrong with her?" he asks Freddie as footsteps scuttle on the stairs. Shrugging his shoulders, he doesn't answer him as he fears Robbie will find out. Robbie walks out and goes outside as Lindsey returns with tears in her eyes. Freddie gets up and asks Lindsey the results. "It's not yours," she says but Freddie doubts her and takes the letter out of her hands. Reading it, he starts crying and believes her. "Then whose-?" Freddie is interrupted by Lindsey. "Just don't ask." she replies and she walks out whilst grabbing her coat. Holding the letter, Freddie folds it up and puts it in his pocket as the scene ends.

Meanwhile Sienna is still in the same position as she ponders on where to tell Dodger the truth about Nico. On one hand, Sienna believes that they could be a happy family but on the other, Sienna can imagine Dodger not wanting to speak to her again. With tears forming in her eyes, Patrick enters the boiler room at Hollyoaks High where Sienna has been for the past few days. With a plate of food in his hand, he gives it to Sienna and tries not give her any eye contact. "Mark needs to know," Sienna says quietly as Patrick starts walking off but stops in his tracks. "Why? He doesn't need to and you will not say anything, understand?" Patrick says, threatening Sienna as he sighs, getting up. Walking out, Sienna hatches a plan to get out.

Outside the Dog, Robbie is busy talking to Lindsey who is just about to walk in. "Where are you going?" he asks suspiciously. "Oh I just needed to pop in," Lindsey replies. "To a pub? Not while you're expecting," he says and heads straight inside as Lindsey rubs her stomach. Worried that Robbie may know something, she heads straight home.

Elsewhere at the Roscoe house, Freddie is pacing up and the hallway as Lindsey enters the house. The pair share eye contact and Lindsey hangs up her coat as she sees the letter peeping through Freddie's pocket. "Whose baby is it?" Freddie pressurises Lindsey as she walks into the kitchen. He turns her around to face him. "Tell me." he says and Lindsey bites her lip. "He's your nephew, don't worry about that." Lindsey yells. "So he's Joe?" Freddie gulps and can't quite believe. "No. It's not even Joe's." The tone in Lindsey's voice changes as the atmosphere goes quiet. "Not Ziggy's?" Freddie asks and Lindsey shakes her head. "No. If you really want to know, I was drunk one night and I slept with Darren. He doesn't know I'm expecting and I don't care if he's the dad, now leave me alone!" Lindsey storms out and the shock is too much for Freddie. "Darren?" he repeats again as if he can't believe it and the episode ends.

After the credits roll, we see Grace and Trevor cuddled up on the sofa as he asks her if she's ok. Grace says she is fine but shows a shifty look in her eyes as the scene ends.
