NextBase In-Car Cam
Purchased the 402G Professional & now have it on charge in the vehicle which takes
about 90mins. Is it possible to charge it with an adapter from the mains bearing in mind it only takes 5 volts dc not the normal 9 volts. Any suggestions on connection if it's possible? Not sure if this post is in the right place. Eamon Curran |

What's normal about 9V
![]() You can get mains adapters in a wide range of voltages, 5V is a very common voltage so plenty about. You just need to choose one with enough current capacity to suit the device and with a matching power connector. Looking at the manual online it appears to use a mini USB connector so any mains to USB adapter with a suitable cable will do. Random example http://www.amazon.co.uk/Approved-Cha...dp/B00H00VAWU/ Just use the USB lead that came with the camera to plug it into the mains adapter. |
